Remember when students camped out for days for this KU game? There are 100’s of tickets for under $25 available. Sad.

Trust me, it wouldn't make a difference if school was in session or not for this game. In 2018 for the Kansas game, the two lower sections were probably 80% full each, and the upper level probably only had 5 rows full. Students will lose interest quickly with losses. Only way we were get students in seats that year was giving away those Dilly Dilly shirts.I do. Were those games while Iowa State was in session?
@IASTATE07 You can laugh all you want, but facts are facts. There was a game where we had literally 47 students scan into the game that year. Whatever we tried that year, we couldn't get students in the doors. The product on the court does affect student attendance. Steve was even trying to work with us from a marketing perspective, but nothing worked.
Alright cool, don’t trust someone who was literally on the committee that was in charge of getting students to come to games and get excited about Cyclone basketball, just because what I say doesn’t fit your narrative."trust me". No thanks.
Do you people not get recommended tweets when you twitter? Do you think the players follow coach?I wasted 30 minutes searching various phrases on Twitter and couldn’t find squat besides a single “madcyclone” burned account with 4 followers that actually tweeted at players.

Your narrative against anything I say because my opinion of the direction of the basketball program is different than yours and you can’t stand that. What's my narrative?

Chip I respect you as a poster despite the fact we may differ on our opinions. But in the last week you have become more like Cat. The personal insults aren’t needed and quite frankly it takes away from some of the points you are trying to make.
Cat is unbanned....here we goComing from the guy who has been compared to @Cat Stevens I will especially take this to heart. Thank you for your guiding light
@rochclone, I know that it's been more than a day now, but Monday is a long workday for me and with the nature of my job it's very difficult to spend much time online during the workday as it is, but I did want to respond to this.
I also respect you as a poster regardless of whatever different opinions we may have. It is certainly not my intent to sound like Cat; I did tell him recently (before his ban) that while I may agree with him on the substance that he needed to tone down his level of vitriol, which he seems unable to do. I'm sure that he earned his ban, and I don't feel bad for him.
I will admit that I do use a lot of hyperbole/exaggeration, maybe more than I need to, and it's likely that could add to the perception of me personally insulting people. In my line of work (I work with adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities) I've found that my clients (and also some of my co-workers) might hear, but they don't listen. There is a world of difference between the two, and so I also use a lot of hyperbole in my daily life to get my point across to people. That seeps its way into my interactions here with people, it seems.
I think there is a lot of frustration, irritation, and just plain anger these days on CycloneFanatic.com due to the lack of results on the court and the field. I will admit to feeling frustration, not just with losses to FAMU, but also with the team and Prohm, but also with those posters who not just openly dislike Prohm, but also refuse to give him even the slightest shred of credit for anything good he has done in his time here. This was also something that happened last season, which I think we can agree was much more promising at this time last year then what we're going through now.
As for "targets" of my personal insults, if you're referring to @jereseib, while the two of us may disagree on a lot, we seem to have "made up" recently ever since the end of the TCU game. If you're referring to @tyler24 (whom I did refer to as being arrogant earlier), I do want you to know that the two of us had a very pleasant and cordial private conversation yesterday. Now, if you're referring to CloneFan4...look, he is the one who openly called Prohm fans/defenders "morons", and in fact doubled down on that, while simultaneously accusing those same people of being "holier than thou". I do not think it's unfair or beyond the pale of me to call him out for his hypocrisy in doing that, and I do hope for the sake of consistency that you called him or her out as well.
Anyway, just wanted to be sure that I did respond to your post. I do appreciate the thoughtfulness of your posts and your rational viewpoint, even if we do not always see eye to eye.
Cats gonna paul pierce from the tunnel soon and lay the smackdown on you guys. This thread and site are 24 game seconds away from getting very interesting.
