We would treat it like Uthoff transferring from Wisconsin to Iowa. Probably allow it only if Foster loses a year of eligibility.
Foster would have to enroll before we would be able to restrict him. He's free to go anywhere if he gets out of his LOI. See Darius McNeill.

“So during our discussions,” Pollard said, “I said to Fred ‘OK, so if you leave, who’s out there that I ought to be thinking about?’ The first person out of his mouth was Steve Prohm.

that’s as much of a lie as Campbell telling his wife he wanted to coach here.

Sounds to me like he gave a list of guys, but fair point. Also, if that’s the Gazette article, I’m mad at Fred for lying to us in the next line of that article.

I looked through his history and it still seems like Prohm has begun losing more games at home by 10+ than McDermott did.

You may be right. But I remember Greg stinking to a level not yet reached by CSP the whole time he was here. However this team resembles a McDumbass team so much it’s scary. I can see with the current trajectory how it could easily spiral into that 4 year abyss. It scares the hell out of me to think that. Maybe it won’t but there are plenty of things that concern me right now.

He probably said "who's out there besides TJ" since JP interviewed TJ for the job, but was not going to hire him. It seems as though TJ was Fred's 1st choice since he brought him back for his last year, knowing he was leaving for NBA and leaving a head coaching vacancy.

Absolutely, and I’d argue this team might finish worse than any McDermott team. I’m not sure what wins I see left. Maybe KSU at home.

I think we get KSU and TCU at home, we had TCU beat in Ft Worth. Anything else would be a pleasant surprise. Crazy to think that at best, we'll probably be 10-8 in Hilton. Could be looking at 5 of those losses being by double digits.

he didn’t bring him back for his last year. He brought him back 2 months before he quit. People deny it but I’d bet my last dollar TJ had been promised the job.

No opinion here, just fact for the Fred lovers and a Prohm haters -Fred recommended Prohm.

So Fred recommends Prohm over the guy he brought back from Washington to take over. Yeah that makes perfect sense. That idea was floated by JP to distract from Fred leaving and the hire of a mid-major coach.

Anyone that can’t see the Jamie smokescreen in that statement is blind. Zero chance, actually less than zero chance, that Fred promoted Prohm over TJ.

You mean like TJ?

Fred wasn't even a mid-major coach when he was hired. Hell, at that time, neither was TJ. They were both unproven, untested nothings.

I would start

TH
Bolton
Jackson
Conditt
Griffin

First guard in: Grill
First post in: Solo

I don't care if we lose the rest of the games this year, we need to get better for next year at this point. I think the younger guys will get better with more minutes. Time for them to grow up.

Jacobson and Nixon had their chance, time to move on.
Lewis even though he is junior, it is time to move on. This dog is staying in that house. Who knows what he does on non game days.

How would fred and Steve's world's have even overlapped? Id be kind of surprised if Fred knew who Steve was before he was a finalist. Murray state is small potatoes

We did have them beat in Fort Worth, but I wouldn't be surprised to lose in Hilton. Our guys will get schooled on pick and roll defense.

It says right in his bio that he was the 8th ranked recruit in school history. Most had him **** and right around 100 nationally. For us, that’s a big deal. I’m sure he’s thanking his Lord and Savior for the opportunity to “develop” under Prohm (!)

That school history ranking is not legit, for propaganda reasons they started using the 247 rankings as the basis of history even though they were only around a handful of years when Lewis was signed. I followed recruiting closely then and he was considered a decent but not top level recruit. Prohm obviously has done a terrible job developing and utilizing him and yuh are spot on about that.
