Another question, which 2 people does Tony pay back his fire token loans to? At least 1 person is not going to be happy.

What is it you don't like about Rob? Probst has said Rob is probably his favorite player of all time.

I don't like the way he plays the game with his authoritative approach of controlling everything. Like making people go through their bags to prove they don't have an idol, or making sure everyone stays together so they don't talk strategy.

That's what makes him a must watch. Some people hate that tactic, some people love it. He was also one vote away from that strategy having him win the game twice.

I don't necessarily love the strategy, but I love the psychology and behavior of how it affects people.

I love watching Rob play. His biggest problem is everyone has figured it out that has been on the game. If Rob played with new players who have never played. I bet he would have a good shot at winning again.

I am glad Sophie is gone. She annoyed the crap out of me.

I'd argue he did win the game twice since he got engaged to the winner at the finale lol

I've been watching old seasons and just finished up Rob's first season (#4-Marquesas). He was a homophobic womanizer back then. He compared himself to a Godfather in his first season. He plays a similar style (with more confidence), but I don't find him to be nearly as much of an ******* this time around. He's more elderly Marlon Brando now than young Robert DeNiro. Maybe I'm just softening up toward him.

Tony is so good but yet again while last night worked well for him he tries to do so much at once I think it comes back to bite him. I said immediately last night when it was over 'sarah is gonna be PISSED OFF' and she was looking at the preview for next week. Tony is so great...but he has an idol. But if I were ANY of the other players, they need to take him out because no one can beat him

If you watch any old seasons of survivor or big brother there was a lot of homophobia. Also, CBS allowed it and even aired it. Luckily as a whole, it seems people are more open and accepting (or at least homophobes aren't casted) these days.

Shannon from Nicaragua (barf) stands out most in my mind, and that was late 2010.

But at the same time we've seen people like Keith have to spend the night with Josh on Exile Island and he says he doesn't care about it he just doesn't want to spoon with him, and that was just 3 years later.

I'm not saying everyone is behaving perfectly, its just miles better than it was 20 years ago.

Yeah, I'm figuring that out. I have been watching them in order. The homophobia and the blatant sexism are kind of disturbing to view.

There is a reason for that. He's been amazing TV for 20 years love or hate him people watch.

I haven’t watched from the beginning. Only time I’ve seen Rob was the season he won which IMO is the worst season of survivor I’ve seen.

Sure is getting the winner edit. He's definitely not the GOAT though.
Yeah, there will never be someone considered the unanimous GOAT.

There are a decent amount of fans who still don't respect Sandra's gameplay, and she has won the goddamn game twice.

Yeah, Rob was literally a cult leader that season. That cast was god awful besides him and Russell.

He had his group under his thumb so hard there were something like 5 episodes in a row where you knew exactly what was going to happen. I just straight up a waste of time.

You must have missed last season then for being the worst.

I did. We watch it with my kids, and generally let some of them build up before watch, and then I heard about the weird foot touching guy and I was out.
