The part that stinks is there are pods of 6 or 8 tickets left, quite a few. Those have to be bought as pods of 6 or 8. Those account for at least half of what is left. I would say at 4pm there were around 800 tickets left, at least 400 or more we pods ofv6 or 8.

I ended up with a pod of 4 in 202 Row 8.
Surprised people aren’t buying those up and selling the ones they won’t use. They’ll definitely get sold, and if they choose, make a decent profit.

Only Directors ($12,500+ donors) can buy more then 4 tickets per the email I got.
Oh yeah. I wonder if they still aren’t sold in a couple days they break up those seats into smaller blocks (if possible) or just allow anybody to purchase them?

If I understood it they cannot be split up. They have the seats set up in social distancing pods. Be interested to know if you can send some tickets mobile or just the whole pod.

Also in the update email I got about 1230pm it sounded like we could purchase the pods of 6 and 8 if we wanted to

To those going have fun, cheer loud and help the team bring home the trophy. Would no doubt be there if there was no pandemic. My work has a policy if you leave the state you have to quarantine before coming back to work. :(

Can anyone who bought through ISU speak to how much the fees were? I'm still holding out hope that there will be some available this afternoon.

Got mine at 9am. Still some left at that moment, I would guess around 100, maybe 200 tops.

Few/no blocks of 3 or 4; I had to buy 6.

Fees were a straight 30 bucks no matter how many you ordered. As of this morning there is about 450 tickets left, but only 6 pods of 2 tickets, 1 pod of 4 tickets and 72 pods of 6 tickets.

I just bought a pair through the university. I still don't know yet if I can swing the trip- likely going to drive it if it works out. Does anyone know if these mobile tickets will be transferable? It appears everything is going to be managed by SeatGeek (rather than the Ticketmaster system ISU uses).

It appears probably yes. If you have tickets in you seatgeek account you have the option to sell or send them. So I would think they are.

I don't get to purchase until 1PM, and it sounds like I may be out of luck by then. If you end up needing to sell your pair, I might be willing to buy them from you.

So I didn't have an existing SeatGeek account, nor have I received a SeatGeek notification (only the ISU Ticketmaster e-mail). I set up a SeatGeek account, using the same e-mail as my Ticketmaster account, but so far it doesn't appear they are linked in any way.

Sounds like I’ll be buying 6 tickets for 3 people. Ugh.

Edit: Actually, how is that going to work if season ticket holders can only purchase 4?

I think there's gonna be a lot of Iowa State Fans in the upper Deck. Will remind me of the Big12 a few years ago when the entire upper deck was Iowa State fans when we beat Kansas

Section 217, checking in. I missed a few home games (being extra careful), there's no way I'm missing the championship! Could be a once in a fandom experience, but I have faith that it's the first of many trips.

Same here. I thought someone said (earlier in this thread maybe?) that SeatGeek would send out emails/tickets early next week? I'm trying to be proactive to get my ticket in my wallet and get my buddy's transferred to him before we leave next Friday.

I received the following clarification from the ticket office:
"Yes, tickets will be available to be managed through Seat Geek. That will not be available until early next week when we receive the tickets from the Big 12. You’ll receive information about how this process will work later this week."

Looks likec20 sets of 6 tickets left from ISU. If you want them go buy them if you are able. 6 at $145 is better than 2 at $300.
