What to do with Coach Prohm Poll..

Truly unfortunate, yet believable considering what Steve is throwing out there night in and night out. Not convinced J. Johnson or JCL are any good either.
I see the class as realistic for ISU. Foster has star potential. Dubar appears to be the ideal sidekick, play hard and do the dirty work. Blackwell and Walker will need work and maybe become solid players, maybe not. Minimum 50% hit on a class seems ok.
Of course all need good coaching and a work ethic to reach their potential.
Yeah, I think Johnson has potential. He kind of reminds me of Burton or Nader in their first years here where you can see the makings of a really good player but just out of control at times and bad shot selection etc. If you can harness his ability he might end up being a good player next year.
The best scenario at this point be if he’d bailed at the end of season & go back to his home area to Kentucky..ie Murray state, bowling green, some Kentucky or Tennessee school small school.. leaving us on the hook for the difference of the remainder of the contract thru 24..it would soften the blow and allow us to move toward the future...doubt it will happen.. we looked like a rec team out there last nite.. it sucks, but it is what it is..no cohesion.. no rebounding, little energy..
I kind of agree with Chris on the podcast he did today. Prohm can take some of the heat off if he plays the freshman a lot more and they show improvement throughout the year. That will at least give some people hope for next year. Young playing 31 minutes compared to Fosters 13 is unacceptable. Walker not playing at all when our other guards are turning it over left and right is unacceptable.
Can we preemptively stop the “Let’s hire (insert former cyclone with no direct experience because I’ve heard of his name before”,can we please?
So who here is going to personally pony up the money to buy him out while also paying Campbell's staff more? In a normal year Prohm probably gets fired after this season if it is a disaster but financially right now I doubt he does and gets at least 1 more year.

Demote him to assistant, since you gotta pay him anyway. Bring in a young up and comer who will work cheap as the new head coach doing x and o, practice etc.
At least this way you are getting something out of him for your money.
I suppose you dont have to officially demote him. Just bring in a new "associate" head coach, but he is the real power behind the throne, he calls the shots

This is reasonable, unless things expectantly turn positive by the end of the year. Otherwise this and next year.
I’m still holding out hope that he just leaves at the end of the season. Cause he’s such a good guy and all and he feels bad for taking all this money to crater a program.
I’m all for firing him and getting a new coach but I’m not sure we need to publicly humiliate him lol
