I typically cheered for Clemson as the fun alternative to the Evil Empire, even knowing they'd become their own Evil Empire along the way.
Dabo and his takes have pretty much wrecked that. Now it's just maybe watching, maybe cheering for a meteor, or whatever.
Yea Dabo should’ve dropped his “little ole Clemson” shtick like 2 years ago and maybe I’d like them.
I will say every Clemson fan I’ve met is super nice compared to Ohio State or Bama. Bama fans will have an aneurysm anytime you make a joke about them. A coworker literally unfriended me on Facebook after I made a joke about the Kick 6 Auburn game.

I said disagree to this only because I don't want Ohio State to score that many.
Ohio State because they're getting in on name recognition alone. One of the reasons that is consistently used for keeping G5 teams out of the playoffs is that it's difficult to tell whether their record is because they're good or because they play in a weak conference (it's probably a bit of both). And I'm fine with that as long as we only have four teams in the playoff. But if you're going to use that standard for G5 times, you have to use it for everyone, and based on that argument, Ohio State shouldn't get in. The "eye" test is really a literacy test. Can you read the names on the jerseys.
After them is Clemson. I just really dislike Dabo.
I don't really have a problem with Notre Dame or Alabama getting in.
I also will be rooting against Iowa and Liberty. I don't mind Indiana normally and will have probably cooled down enough to support them in their bowl game, but right now they are really annoying

I thought about that, but was scared everyone would mark every team. At least that's what I would have done.

I listened to three weeks of tv talking heads bag on ISU when the gigantic obvious school they should have wanted to use to make their point was tOSU. But they NEVER would bring up OSU in that context because they are pussies.
Also because the B1G was playing games with the COVID protocols, it is in the interest of the game to see to it that doing so is seen as a huge mistake, after the fact.
