Put Lindell at PG and you end up with things being a turnover machine.

This is exactly what we are doing w Bolton right now.

Id have played Wigg more and took some mins fron THT and NWB. Try to avoid having all 3 volume shooters (LW, THT, MS) on floor at same time.

Yeah they did for sure. I was just trying to say Hoiberg seemed to do a much better job managing those players than Prohm has done though.

Most of the time.

He certainly didn't his last season, though.

See the BDJ chair incident.

A team that can reliably clown top ten opponents but then turn around and lose to an awful South Carolina, Texas Tech, and UAB squads doesn't speak well of program culture.

To this day do we know why BDJ allegedly threw the chair? I always assumed it was because Fred told them he was leaving or something like that. The Fred was awesome but as much as get on Prohm for not doing much with his talented team (2018-19), Fred never really did take the program that far either. His teams were just consistently good so we were happy. Some of those rosters should have made it past the sweet 16 and they never did.

So... I’m told there’s a game today. Do we know who is available?
I’ve heard the guys from Monday and one more possibly. Who that one more is, I haven’t heard for sure. I hope it’s Solo as I think he would be the most beneficial to the team, but I’ll take any of the guys who are out

Pretty sure between knowing he was leaving and the heart issue that year, Fred checked out for most of the season.

We were a 3 seed, finished second in a very tough Big 12, and won the Big 12 tournament. I think he may have checked out when it comes to recruiting, but that was a very successful season.

Just like Prohm stepped into a veteran group, Fred walked out with one.

We can always keep blaming UAB on the Golden tips that made someone incapable of catching a pass.

But winning the big 12 tournament and getting bounced in the first round is not a successful season is what I’ve learned from here

Is anybody else planning on watching the game today? I normally work on Saturdays during the pandemic, but I was diagnosed with having Covid a couple of days ago (more or less asymptomatic, thankfully, and knock on wood), so I'm stuck at home for the next few days. I'll tune in, support the guys, hope for the best today and prepare for the worst.

I seem to recall that we rolled with the hot hand. If THT was rolling he got the minutes, but if he wasn't Wigginton took all of his time. I also seem to recall that we went with Wigginton in crunch time, when the game was on the line. I think all of this was the right way to do it.

It will either be Tre or Solo. Solo was in Jaden Walker’s snap story the other day getting shots up and Tre travelled with the team to Mississippi State.

I try to tune in for every game, so I’ll be watching. No matter how good or bad they are doing i try to watch the games to the end. Hope you get back to 100% soon!

Thanks for the update! Helpful for us who don’t follow the guys on social media

No chair was “thrown.” It was pushed over by BDJ after hearing he wouldn’t be playing the second half. Apparently a bunch of those guys barely slept the night before for whatever reason whether it was being sick or something else. But no, Fred never told the guys he was leaving until the Bulls offered him. He was still preparing a playbook for the next season at Iowa State, even after his surgery that spring.

You are like me and I'm sure many others here. Hopefully, you (all of us) get rewarded for your (our) faithfulness.

So why was BDJ told he wasn't playing the 2nd half?

As long as 12-6 and second in the regular season is the equivalent of 9-9 in the conference.
