I was skeptical at first, but the more I dig into it, the more I like it. The record at UNLV puts people off, but UNLV has been garbage for awhile. His first year there was their highest finish in 12 years. That was a tough roster situation, and he has every prerequisite to succeed at ISU from his background. We also know that he's committed for the long-term.
Finally, everyone else either wasn't coming here, or was less qualified than TJ, with the possible exception of Devries. I'm very happy with this, and glad it happened quickly because we need to get off to a fast start on the rebuild.
