It's the sum of the parts. Rasir is a stud, no doubt. But we've upgraded immensely with all the rest of the newcomers. Brockington when combined with the rest... equals better team all around.

Better team by far....This roster is 10x more quality IMO. So many fans look at Shooting 3's and scoring...that's half the game....But the other half...defense and rebounding wins championships.

We aren't winning a championship next year but this roster up and down is leaps and bounds more talented defensively and rebounding and its not close.

Alright, well that will likely do it unless that one player was still supposed to transfer out. TJ gets an A for this offseason. I'm still going around 500 give or take a few games next season. Let's go lock down Karaban now and 2022 could be something big
I like the sound of that! Karaban. Sounds like a shiny car wax!

He would definitely shine!

In fairness I don't think Rasir was a PG either, but got forced into the role.

If he's a plus defender then that's probably an upgrade regardless. But as for rebounding, they're pretty even there too which surprised me.

Definitely not hating the move, just seemed like kind of a lateral move.
It helped Rasir that he played on a team that sucked so bad at rebounding though.

Remember when half the people on this site were pissed we hired TJ? That was fun

I was a total douche about it. Fantastic job by him. I said he needed to replace basically everyone and he’s done it.

That said, probably sooner rather than later I’ll be a douche again so don’t get used to this.

A douche doesn't acknowledge they are/were a douche. So you shouldn't have to worry about it. Means you follow logic eventually. The hire and the speed of it should have made many uncomfortable, glad TJ is proving himself.

This is cool, but maybe I'm missing something here. Looking purely at statistics, he's a little bigger, little worse shooting Rasir Bolton? Their stats are near identical. I've admittedly never watched a Penn State game, so does he have a specific type of impact on games?

Stop looking at deep dive analytics, nerds. Guy is a baller. We don’t need everyone to be a superstar.

I forgive you! Even though you're still a douche.

Rimshot! Just kidding!

Edit: To be clear, forgive you. Just kidding on the douche part!

TJ can recruit, but does he have any out of bounds plays? Hope so, the future is looking bright!

He plays defense? And is physical? Another big loss for Penn State. Should have kept their previous coach. The team was tough.
