I think he just says it to generate a stir out of fans for engagement on their show.. But I also remember him being VERY happy about his under bet for wins in 2019 paying off. He would boast about the weekly when talking about ISU

in 2005 Iowa entered the season in the Top 10? Very high expectations..alot of returning talent..The wheels came off that season for Iowa and Drew Tate was in and out alot that year...They still went 7-5 and made a decent bowl.

I'll say this..hard part about this season is the Big 12 is going to be brutal IMO. teams like TT, KSU and even Baylor will be improved IMO. Heck KU will be better based on coaching alone. OU has a legit NC contending roster.
