Sounds like this meeting accomplished jack squat

Most likely.... because it's been a done deal for a while now. I don't think there's anything the Big 12 can offer them to make them happy.... besides giving them so much that all the rest of the schools go bankrupt.

Not exactly sure.
I mean… it’s keep your cards to yourself time. Both as a conference and as individual schools. So did expect some Michael Scott 50 step plan to fix this to be announced after the meeting?
More of a sort out and share information meeting.

What does everyone think the results would be of a poll taken of OU and TX fans right now about whether or not they want to leave the Big 12?

I really have no idea what I think the results would be.... but I wonder if this is what they would all really want to see happen?

The goal as fans should be to gum up the works as much as humanly possible. You want the new superconference to be radioactive from a PR standpoint.

I'm guessing at least 70% want to make the jump.

This is so lame
This quote was put out to provide fodder for our attorneys. Think Baylor and Tech want to use some legal remedies. We are going to claim this injures the Big 12 and we were blind sided.

UT 95-5 in favor of leaving
OU 60-40 in favor of leaving.

It's easy to stay **** them when you aren't footing the bills of the AD.

If option A is $30M with OU and TX in the fold or option B is $15M in a lesser league you don't really have a choice but to kick the can down the road.

$15M pay cut means good bye to all of your football staff. I honestly don't see the debt as a big deal...worst case the state is picking up the tab.

Yeah. I lived through plenty of crappy ISU football and it didn't kill me. I love ISU for a lot more than the football program.

So you're fine with us being crappy again.... and going back to the day where Jack Trice Stadium (Cyclone Stadium back then) was not even half full?

They are mostly all dumbasses so I will guess 80% of Texas and OU fans want to leave.
