Wouldn't it suck if ISU is profitable enough with success in football to be invited.

While KU sucking at football keeps them not viable

Apparently conferences don’t give a damn about geography anymore because there are rumors the B1G is trying to add Stanford and USC.

Rumors are just that. I'll believe it when I see it.

How many people in here believe any of these people writing these tweets and articles have any real sources? And if they have sources, that those sources have any real info?

Do any of us really think anyone outside the Athletic Director and President of each University, and the Commissioner of the Conferences have any knowledge of what really is going on?

Those people inside that circle are the only ones that know and those people are not spilling the beans at this point. Many times those same people will say the something different than what is going on just to throw people off the scent of what is actually happening. So many of these things I want to believe then so many I don't everything is all over the place.

Unfortunately I'm really starting to realize the media companies are eating this up, they know this is how they make money. Running with this stuff is generating all kinds of clicks for them. I to am just reaching for some real information, but unfortunately I am not sure we will get it unless it comes directly from JP himself.

I wouldn’t believe a single tweet that says “I’m hearing” or “my sources say” or anything along those lines.

There’s tons of bs out there, but I also believe nuggets of truth can be gleaned here and there through critical reading.

It’s all about analyzing the credentials of the source, figuring out where their info may be coming from, evaluating potential bias, comparing it with other sources, and then filtering it all through common sense.

it’s a pain to sort through and we all will probably be wrong about certain things, but the search for those nuggets is what makes it fun for me as I try to piece it all together. Plus, I have nothing better to spend my free time on

Baylor is probably in the worst position of all the remaining schools, so they're going to have to scramble like hell to avoid being relegated to a lower conference.
