KU actually built one of the best track facilities in the country 7 years ago and finally removed that track from Memorial. Still one of the worst stadiums standing.
Whoa, check out the Beaker flying in like he's on air alert to defend the KU/B1G move.

Heard anything good?...for US?

I just looked up the wiki article on it - I'm surprised by all the small projects. That thing needs bulldozed and started over. It's easily the worst CFB stadium I've been to (even worse than the liberty bowl).

It has one major advantage over the Liberty bowl... no need to stand in line for 2 hours for a beer or a restroom.

I had to go look on Google. No track and a lot of construction nearby. Honestly JTS has had a lot of improvements in the last 20 so we should keep that in mind maybe.
The news here in AZ has picked up on the Pac 12 expansion today.

The only way the PAC expands is if ESPN pays them to take schools so they can move OU & UT sooner and escape or greatly reduce penalties, and even then that deal better not be a 5 or 6 year deal because there is no guarantee of the 2nd contract. But I don't see it the PAC institutions look down on the Big 12 especially since OU & UT are gone.

Do you really think the headliners USC, OR & UW want to fly to fly over country and play the remaining schools in the Big 12 instead of flying a few more miles and playing OSU,UM, Neb, Wisky, PSU? I just doubt it. Maybe there is some value in adding a time slot or two to live content for a network but the two leagues could create a joint network also and accomplish the same thing. Bowlsby said the tv revenue(minus CFP, bowl & NCAA $$) is now declined from 28M to 14M. How does that increase revenue in the PAC and why would the top 46 brands ever stay in that scenario?

I think its more likely Bowlsby and the PAC AD met and discussed what if's in the case 4-6 schools head to the B1G from the PAC.

ISU hopes they somehow get one of the last slots in the B1G adding AAU teams but the chances are very unlikely. Then we all throw a parade and can't believe how well this worked out.

Whats probably going to happen instead is the B1G poaches some of the PAC and the Big 12 gets a couple leftover PAC schools out of AZ/ASU/Utah & Colorado.

The revenue difference is going to suck but I'm kind of warming up to a league of adding 2-4 of those plus Houston and BYU. It will be a fun league I think. I'm guessing WVU finds somewhere out East to play and that stops the talk of Cincy/UCF/USF/Memphis. Those type of schools probably join with ACC leftovers and you have two leagues by geographically that get paid 25-33% of what the B1G/SEC get. Basketball should at least be able to survive on that, maybe football gets a bid to the playoffs from those leagues.

I really doubt that was a priority of discussion.

If they took KU and ISU, they'd probably put KU in the west and ISU in the east because we're lucky like that ;)

I would think the opposite with how bad the west is already. Natural rival with Iowa i.e. Mich./Mich. St. to boot.

Purdue says hello. That place is the very definition of a **** hole complete with several overflowing toilets when I was there.

I think the Big stays at 14. I think it's more likely the PAC takes four Big 12 members.

So what exactly is Lawrence providing in these stats? Sure isn't multiple winning sports teams. Seems that KC could have gone solo on this advertisement.

That's like saying that Kobe and Kwame Brown combined for 84 pts in Kobe's 81 pt game.
It was actually a campaign to promote NIL for KU, but OU & UT decided to leave about the same time, so it looks like a KU promo.

Oh. So why bother with KC? Just list the FBI report of how much they were giving recruits when they weren't supposed to. Now that they can, the only restrictions is how many bags they can find to fill.
