I know you guys hate to hear it, but Campbell is very valuable to the future of ISU and if he gets spooked and convinced to leave it could be a death blow to the chances of joining the big 10. I am talking this off season or next. Lots of what ifs right now. Is it Sept. 4th yet?

I do not see Campbell dumping us in the midst of this turmoil. Not now. CHARACTER. Campbell oozes it. It is why his Players love them. Campbell has made himself into the best version of himself that he can be. And that is awesome.
The whole doesn't add value take is incredibly lazy. If you put Iowa and Iowa State in different time slots you own the eyeballs of this state and Fox and BTN can get more return on the advertising dollars as well as increase the premium. Also, if you add Iowa State and KU you are also grabbing airtime that is being left behind from the Big 12 falling apart. That allows the B1G to continue with the same amount of BTN inventory plus grab additional Fox opportunities. The Big 12 falling apart also opens up a playoff slot and the B1G would certainly have opportunities to cash in on that as well. Don't listen to the tavern hoks that beat the don't bring value drum, it's simply not true. This round of realignment will be much more forward thinking and that is a really good thing for ISU.

I don't think Campbell's value is going to diminish. He is so highly valued and respected he could ride out a couple of years of uncertainty and still land a top-notch job. Now, if it becomes clear that ISU has no path to the CFP, can't pay his assistants, whatever it might be, then I'm sure he might be open to more jobs than he was before.
Campbell winning it all with Iowa State this year would be so freaking awesome. Screw SECESPN and OuT. Then let the narrative begin that OuT are leaving because they can not beat Iowa State.

Lol Campbell is not going to leave ISU when there’s an opportunity for us to join the B1G?? He’d leave if there was writing on the wall that we were going to be relegated to G5 level.
If ISU was a B1G job, Campbell will never leave. I’d be almost certain that’d be a fact.
