One of my favorite things from the night was the fact that 2nd team defense looked almost exactly like the 1st team defense. That unit is stacked.
Oh, and what a douche move by UNLV to call 2 timeouts in first half down by 3 scores to try and ice the kicker. Really, was that your game winning strategy?
Next up,,,Baylor beat up on KU in Lawrence. Big 12 teams looked tough yesterday. UNLV, only soft game this season. We needed this game but I think UNLV is the worst team we’ve played in a long time. Louisiana-Monroe a couple years ago was better.
Edit: I’m going to say worst team since Western Illinois in 2012.
My thought is what is that pic of Campbell they kept putting on their graphics? It looked like poorly photoshopped a suit on him and the lighting was super weird.
Agreed. I thought color announcer could of easily gotten a job from NFL Blitz.Looked like something from NBA Jam.
Our defense is rarely going to give up 3 TDs in a game. If we just score 21-24 a game (a not shoot our selves in our own nutsack like vs Iowa), which should be more that feasible, we’ll be fine. Our defense is where we start and those boys are playing like one hell of a brick wall.UNLV looked really bad. Baylor game next week is going to tell us a lot about ourselves.
They had 18 at halftime and 102 at the end of 3.Does anybody know how many Yards UNLV got last night.....
The only concern I had was the level of futility the offensive line had from the one. We just couldn’t gain an easy yard.

Ummm there is a VERY stark contrast to Iowa’s defense and UNLVs. That is one of the worst teams we have played in some time, and that includes Kansas. My question is why didn't Manning have that game plan for Iowa? or did someone else call the plays
Kansas/UNLV would be a tossup.Next up,,,Baylor beat up on KU in Lawrence. Big 12 teams looked tough yesterday. UNLV, only soft game this season.
