I mean, we have a good shot against Iowa, no? I know they score a ton…but feeling better as a match up.

Likely the best shot in 4 years. Would be nice if ISU wouldn't make them look like an All-Star team.

I like this team to jump on a couple of ranked conference teams which is fun to think about.

We can compete with Xavier, Creighton, Missouri, and Iowa if we keep playing like this. I don't know about Virginia Tech though and Memphis will have alot more talent.
Yes all 4 of those teams are down. Iowa or Xavier will be the toughest of the group.

Nice! First win over a Power 5 school since February 25, 2020 against TCU, 25 straight losses until tonight.

That is sad. Great to see them get a little early success. Defense sounds like it was decent tonight with less fouls. Still a lot of turnovers and not great shooting from 3. OSU was a lot worse from 3. Hopefully it is at least partially the defense.

Scoring a ton against Longwood isn't quite the same. Right now I'm not sure Iowa can beat ISU. Although better athletically than the last few years....their defense is still not that good. And I think Hunter and the two Big Ten transfers will have their way. Fran will probably throw a zone.....so what. They don't have multiple rim protectors like in the past years and those three will be able to get to the rim.

Consistently bring that energy and effort and this is maybe a NIT/bubble team? Don't want to overreact to one game but that was impressive.
