Half ass playing calling the entire game, the O line could block no one the entire game and then throw in our screw up and give up a touchdown on a fumble before half and we deserved to lose the game.

Its why we are Iowa State, when the pressure is on us, and its time to step up, more than often we will pee down our leg.

Talent was there - although we've had couple areas exposed - OL, QB, DBs. DBs seems to have had a better game today & have shown more progression. Manning & offense has been the biggest let down. Is what it is

And Brock’s drive got bailed out by a reviewed call that put them at the 1/2 yard line. Purdy is better than Dekkers but you can’t argue with results. Purdy has done NOTHING all game. Dekkers had a hot hand and just let a scoring drive.

He’s benched and we go 3 and out.

And Oklahoma not bringing the house, Dekkers actually got to take a snap and count to two before he had someone in his face

I just hope the coaching staff learns from this season. You always have to develop, adapt to what is in front of you. Seems we just decided to roll with what worked last year, but other teams caught on.

The Purdy excuse makers are more embarrassing than the Prohm defenders at this point
I'm far from the biggest Purdy fan but this is ... wow. I give him about as hard of a time as ever but he HAS been a successful quarterback here and done WAYYYYY more good than bad for Iowa State....

Do I think he's elite or anything like that? No. Do I think Dekkers might be more physically talented? Yes. But football's not just about physical ability. And he's a great Cyclone, no matter what. He deserves to go out and have every chances to play - he's earned that. I probably would not have put him back in because of the injury risk potential and the fact that the OL has blocked a grand total of no one this game.

And while I maybe highly critical of times - I do believe it or not appreciates much of what he has done . I do look forward to the future but that does not mean I don't appreciate the present.

I mean how can people even dispute it? I'm tired of the 6 wins is a good season no matter what crap. You return literally everyone from the best team in school history, and then crap the bed with losses to Tech and West Virginia. A lot of it is on the coaching staff.
I really think there is a chemistry issue with this team. I do not understand how you can play so well (OK State, Texas) then be so bad (WVU, TTU), something just seems off with this group.
