I know one thing. This will be the first time I've ever rooted for a Big 12 team to lose their bowl game. I hope Oklahoma gets kicked into oblivion. With everyone jumping ship in Norman, I'm guessing ole Bobby Stoops will be playing without a few starters.

because we were just there two years ago and Kstate has never been, they dont travel like we do but they would draw pretty well

I've seen a ton of people say KSU doesn't travel well but I don't think that's true at all. They are probably pretty similar to us.

Our bowl travel prowess is mostly because we have historically not been to very many bowls, so we think we need to go while we can. But with our 5th bowl in a row, after a good but disappointing season, it's very possible that we don't turn out like we have in the past.

and also has been to the Texas Bowl in the last five years, I do believe if it came down to Texas vs Liberty we would make a deal to go down to the Liberty Bowl

If we actually get an SEC opponent this time, that's a great non NY6 bowl for us. Easy travel for our fans, fun opponent, and a fun town. I went in '17 and had a blast. I'd rather party for a couple days in Memphis than Houston or Orlando, and it's not even debatable.

because no one wants to play tuesday Jan 4th

Definitely understand that in terms of family travel. Selfishly, after the 1st is just so much cheaper for airfare, don’t have to take the full week of PTO between Xmas & NYD and can use carryover PTO for the first couple days of the year.

Being as I'm not going to the game regardless, I wouldn't mind Texas, but our fan showing will be trash compared to other destinations.

Lots of people are off between Xmas and New Year's and have flexibility in that window. Tuesday the 4th is in the midst of a work week.

I plan to go just about anywhere but Houston...although I want to go to Houston, I just don't know if I can make it work with that date. Really sucks.

I understand the games during the week between the holidays, I understand the games on the weekends. But why the middle of the week after. That really makes it hard to travel to, not just for workers, but people with kids, that have school.

Gross. Why? Shouldn't warm weather be the goal? Give me Orlando or Houston.
Come on now, there's nothing like celebrating New Year's Eve on Beale Street with your winter coat on.

Pollard on the coaches show said they initially were unsure about Texas Bowl due to the date. However, the staff actually thinks it's good because they can send the players home for Christmas.

Orlando would be my first choice. Memphis would be my last. Orlando is a pricey trip, but a lot warmer by a few gigawatts than Memphis.

I know one thing: The most annoying place in all the marvel universes will be the Quick Lane Bowl in two years when Nebraska makes it back to a bowl game.

___fill-in-blank___ virus strain/variant will have more to do with involuntary Bowl attendence than anything. It is all so freaking boring...really.
