Other than Hunter, the rest of the starters have played in away games in front of big crowds. And, Hunter seems to raise his play in bigger games. Defense travels. They just need to maintain their intensity on defense if the shots aren't falling instead of letting that effect them. I think it'll be a close game with a chance to win at the end, can't ask for any more than that.
This Hawkins kid is definitely lighting us up tonight, right? He was the D2 POY that openly talked about wanting to be a Cyclone, but we didn't have room for him at the time.

If the Bluejays play to their “normal” game then we should turn them over and score in transition. I worry about an opposing player(s) shooting the ball at an unconscious rate (she’ll-shock from the CSP years where it happened EVERY game), but know this year our guys D-up, so the likelihood of that happening is diminished.
With improved rebounding this year + D + steals off transition, I think we have a shot to have another Barclay experience and win by 10…or 15.

If we play solid D (doesn't need to be perfect), shoot at least 33% from 3 and win or push the rebounding total...

That Memphis win is looking less impressive by the day..
They need to stop losing so that win stays strong

They're young and raw with no primary ball handler. They can improve but the ball handler is a major issue.
I will be interesting to see how ISU responds if they get down by 10. I don't believe that's happened yet.
I’m thinking we drop this and probably Iowa. We are better than I thought we’d be at this point but Xavier was out a few key players and now Memphis lost again and is looking incredibly average. Tonight will be a huge win if we get it.
I mean we were almost up 30 at one point in the Memphis, I love this team and there grit, but no good teams should be down 30 pts to us
I do think true road game at Creighton and CyHawk game will be bigger tests than what we got last week.
As for Memphis, like I said when people were scoffing at the Oregon State win after OSU had bad losses ... at least ISU won.
