So, planning to attend my first bowl game this year with my two boys (7 & 9).

I looked at tickets on the ISU website, and I would like to buy them from ISU since it will look good if we sell our allotment... but also trying to get a good price.

I don't think this will be a sell out (could be wrong) but don't think too many clemson fans are going to be fired up about this one after being in the playoffs most years.

Questions for anyone that may know:

1) Do good tickets / seats usually come down significantly in price on the secondary market as we approach game day (assuming there are a lot of seats available)?

2) Does anyone know anything about Camping World Stadium seating? I was considering the Plaza Lounge Club and the Midfield seats.. but not sure what the "Plaza Lounge Club" is or if it's worth it.

Thanks!

I got section 133 (about 40ish yard line) row H (row 8) for $186 minus a $20 promo discount from seatgeek.

I'm usually one who likes to buy from ISU but the last time I got worse seats for more $ than I could have gotten elsewhere.

I am torn every year on this. Yes, it does help JP and ISU to sell out our allotment. That is one reason (of several, mainly our fan travel) that helps ISU get selected to better bowls than other teams we are tied (or behind) in conference.

The other positive is you know you will be in the middle of rowdy ISU fans.

But on the other hand, tickets are usually not the best location. The best seats are corporate, so it is usually pretty easy to pick some up on the secondary market.

I usually go ahead and buy a couple through ISU and immediately repost them for sale, maybe taking a little loss on fees. I buy my actual tickets on secondary, but we also usually have more people going than I can get through ISU anyway, so I don't have much choice if we want to sit together.

Looks like this one has the middle seats for school allotment. Maybe not as many freebies for sponsors.

This is spot on.
ISU is judged on tickets sold and it helps sell our program for bowl game selection.

Depends on where you want to sit. Not sure the lower level midfield will go down on resale, but it’s possible. Last time I bought secondary for about face in the Plaza Lounge. Tickets were top of the lower level. View was good and the lounge provided its own bar and restroom. I didn’t bother getting there again. I got tickets closer to the field since I didn’t see the benefit of the bar/restroom compared to being a little closer. Not that I wouldn’t get tickets there again, just not that special.
