While I spend way too much time online, one thing that gets me through the winter is Youtubing outdoor adventure themes to look forward to.

Also I make sure my debit card is out of reach because even though I don't need that solo canoe, it looks super fun on the water.
So you're not like me and have all your card numbers memorized?

I always skip the first couple of words of every line when I'm at a Catholic church. I can never remember where it stops.
If you are a Catholic hater you can just remember that the last word with Catholics is 'evil'.

;) :D  :p :campbell:

To clarify, I am Catholic. But I guarantee anyone who learns this mnemonic device will never forget it.

Have you felt a craving to switch your wine drinking to Vodka yet?

Actually probably going on big alcohol purge from diet, or at least a significant reduction. Need to lose a couple pounds of belly fat. Tried on dress pants yesterday and I can get them buttoned up but they are a bit snug. Tried them on for a reason you might need to wear suit pants and it's not for a wedding. Got one old buddy in hospice and family member likely there soon. I don't usually "do" funerals, not my jam, but these are exceptions.

That reason is coming more frequently as we age. In the last 18 months, Lew has lost his mother, an aunt, an uncle, a SIL, and two brothers. By comparison, it has been easier for me...I only lost my father.

Not a big funeral guy. Didn't go to my grandmothers funeral in 1993 and relatives were mad at me for years, especially my one aunt. I'd talked to my dad and he said you don't need to come down for me. I am not as close to family as a lot of peeps but I stopped to visit her most every time I was back down in Iowa which I am guessing was more important than road tripping down for a bunch of relatives that mostly ignored I was even alive, well, except for funerals.
