My office in Ankeny has had little light flickers for the last 25 or so minutes. Weird...

This is my fear that those that don't get affected as bad or it doesn't end up producing high end tornadoes and damage that ends up as kind of meh that was overblown complex.

Things we have going for us. Crops are out, and well that's about it.

No snow on the ground.

Yep, did here in Ankeny. Not enough to kill power but just dimming the lights a bit.

There was one gust where I said to my daughter "basement" but about 5-10 seconds later it was fine. Very fast moving.

It's over in Omaha. My half dead maple took a hit. Outside of that and some trash blowing around it didn't seem too bad. Have to wait for reports from other parts of town.

Good to hear. Last time a derecho passed through Warren County there were 90+ mph winds and I swear we were going to lose the deck off the back of the house with how bad it was shaking.

So.......Lexington NE airport is at 37 degrees with 62mph gusts.
Hill City KS 47 degrees with 75 mph gusts.
Should be a fun night!
