Ain't no comfort to be had. Its like night of the tornados out there. I'm in Ankeny and feel like I'm just sitting here waiting for a freight train to run over my house. Why is everybody going quiet as it's about to arrive in the metro? I need you all to comfort me.
Magnetic poles are always moving. But the earth doesn’t rotate differently as the magnetic poles change. If it did, Ames would have a very different latitude/longitude than it did 100 years ago (and even 20 years ago)The pole shift is accelerating. This is what we can expect, by the end of this decade it will be apparent that Iowa is well on its way to becoming nearly a tropical climate. The question is what the Mississippi river does as far as where the coastline will end up.
