He’s a gamer and took us places with this senior class I never dreamed we could be.

maybe also look at our offensive coordinator who put him in the rest of the team in near impossible situation at the end of games. Instead of calling games better and giving us a better chance earlier in the game.

too often we were backed into a corner and force to come up with miracle place to keep things going to tie a game. Going the entire length of the field with manning as OC under 2 min, not sure many QBs would succeed

Brock is a talented guy, but somewhere in his mind he need to learn that a play is not going to work, and take the losses. He had two terrible plays in this game and they cost the team dearly. I have no idea what he was thinking on batting that ball to Clemson or on not getting down after the first down at the end. Guess he is trying to make a play, but not sure what play it is.

21. 2-5 (w over UNI)
20. 4-2
19. 2-4 (w over UNI)
18. 2-1 (w over Drake)

10-12 overall if my mobile math is correct. Three of which are considered non-con cupcakes.

So those are the numbers. I don't love that qb's get credits for W's, but since that's one of "his records" it's valid to examine. I think the UNI/Drake are more on staff as a whole than QB1, but point remains.

I am going to write another post regarding Purdy and Campbell being the best ISU has ever had and their strengths and deficiencies are a perfect mixture that produced the highs and the lows of the past four years.

This is not all on Brock. The offensive line sucks and gave him no time. Tom Manning is the worst play caller ever. We’re missing out top running back, and barely had our best reciever

Very bizarre how people feel the need to choose sides on this. Was Brock put in bad spots by his coaches and a suspect OL? Or did he put himself in a lot of bad spots?

It can be both.

Below is the third tweet in that thread. People keep saying this, and I'm no NFL scout, but I'm just not seeing it.

I don't think Brock's an NFL QB but then again I never thought Sage would be one. His stats weren't great.
