I think Brock has less chance than Sage ended up with. Sage got better through his experience though so maybe Brock does. I recall one year wanting him to get the shot with the Vikes (Cardinal colored glasses perhaps)
Thankful for all Brock has done, but a lot of his criticisms are fair. It’s ok to recognize his accomplishments while also being rightfully critical of some of the gaps. You don’t see QBs of his pedigree making the continuous mistakes that he makes.
I think Brock has benefited from having 2 of the top 10 TE in school history (kolar, and Allen). 2 NFL WR in Butler and (soon to be) Hutchinson, Jones who was a great receiver, and two NFL RB 's behind him. He doesn't throw a consistent good ball. He doesn't take care of the ball and he makes plenty of those wtf plays.
Lol, what his definition of professional? No way he ever makes it the NFL, he might be a decent Arena or USFL Qb.

He bailed early a ton. There were lots of times the DEs got driven wide and there was room to climb the pocket but he peeled outside time and again.
Considering it was not the regular line and against that DL I think there was a lot to be encouraged by the OL.
After having some time after the game I love the guy, but he’s just not going to win you big games. He’s too prone to boneheaded mistakes and that never got better over the course of his career. Calling him a loser was harsh, but what I meant was that he’s not the guy that’s going to put you over the edge. Helped advance the program greatly but it’s just time to move on

Backup QB in the NFL is probably the best position to be in. You can have a really long career, make a lot of money, not get injured, and be every team's favorite player (until you actually have to play lol).
If Brock had a chance of being drafted I think he played himself out of it tonight. He saw the type of pass pressure that is routine in the NFL and he repeatedly backpedaled instead of stepping up in the pocket, or bailed early and ran to the outside which took away at least 2/3 of the field. Then add the batted ball pick 6 which was as dumb of a play as I’ve seen in the 45 years I’ve been watching college football. Anyone who thinks Brock Purdy is better than Seneca Wallace is just nuts. Brock had much better talent and depth around him on both sides of the ball. Seneca with this year’s team would have been something.Not sure if Brock helped his draft opportunities....
Purdy 16-1 has never happened before Gunner.
