Yea I’m fine. Thanks for the concern. You seem bothered though.Awww you ok @awd4cy because you got called out for being a little *****? Nothing I said was incorrect.

Must suck to be completely oblivious. Oh well, probably easy being dumb.
The ISU coaches can scout too.
Nice to see you around Cat Stevens/Cyber/ISUfan22/Cychadelia/CyloveHoly ****!!! We’ve reached the irony portion of the meltdown.
That’s awesome
It's not optimism. Please read my post again. I don't think they will get the wins BUT that is not the same as the fact the path is still out there. Until 3-4 wins aren't even out there because there aren't enough games left, this team is still there with a chance. Might not be a good one, but their resume allowed them to be in this spot despite how awful the last two weeks have been.I appreciate your optimism. I am typically a big optimist. Even tonight, while I honestly think the chances of the tourney are LIKELY like 10%...in my idiot brain I'm sitting here looking at other bubble team resumes and they have NOTHING on ours. So I'm sitting here thinking...what if we happen to win at TCU or at KSU and win out at home???
I'm a glutton for punishment I know
I'm just saying that if other teams can have an advantage by scouting ISU that ISU has the same opportunity to scout the other teams. That works both ways.I mean, the way we play defense is not easy to prepare for, but if you are putting in the time against a defense you will play multiple times in conference.
All the scouting in the world isn't going to hide the limitations of this team offensively.
No I just call out morons when I see them. Nothing you have said is fact. It's all your prediction. If you can re-read my post, which I get it you obviously cannot read. I said I DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO GET THE WINS. However, we are NOT mathematically out of this so it isn't over. If they somehow can find a spark and win even three more, I bet you they are in. Until there are not enough games left to even get the number of wins I think we need, it isn't over. That's just a fact.Yea I’m fine. Thanks for the concern. You seem bothered though.
Well, this team is crashing way harder than the team you are referring to, and with an impact transfer and the best recruit at ISU since Fizer. Let’s also keep in mind we are comparing it to a season led by a coach that failed, and that team managed to pull it together enough to win the B12 tourney, go 9-9 in conference and get a 6 seed.Yep. The fact we got to this spot at all is a massive credit to him. It's not like he's Prohm and falling apart with an impact transfer and one of the best recruiting classes in program history. I'll be on his ass if we're pulling the same **** in 2-3 years but for now, even with how much all this **** sucks, we're so far ahead of where we should be
It was a BS answer, just like his answer about why Enaruna isn't playing in the Stanz article.
The correct answer would have been "In the first half we got out and ran, were able to score before the defense got set. In the second half they adjusted, started over playing our sets but we didn't make the correct adjustments and that's on me as a coach. They guys played hard and it's up to me to get them in the correct position to succeed."
Similar to what Campbell says after football games.
He's only gotten away with being so single handed is because he is so athletic - I can't imagine that will work in the NBA. Some coach along the way failed him by not forcing him to improve using his opposite hand.IB is a stud but seeing a P6 player favor dribbling to one side so heavily takes some getting used to.
I guess I don't think it was that impossible of a sell to offer a lot of minutes and big roles at the highest level of college basketball. I think the team definitely overperformed their talent level early, but think they're underperforming of late. There's quite a bit of P6 experience on this roster, and it's not even a young roster. We're now looking at another almost full-scale rebuild to get the talent necessary to compete on the offensive end next year, and that's even including Brockington staying. If he moves on, I almost hope they take a longer view approach, focusing on young talent with some potential to grow and give them the chance to.Jeez people. Yeah it sucks but this team is cobbled together with bailing wire and bubble gum.
There's currently 1.5 P6 starters on this team. Hunter as talented as he is wouldn't start on another team with a passable upperclassmen point guard. Brockington is legit. The rest of these guys, bless them, are all 8 minute bench guys at best on decent P6 teams. I'm not going to hold this season against TJ (although there are some concerning things starting to happen). Not only did he not have a full recruiting cycle, but it had to be incredibly hard to get the guys he did to come to a team that just won TWO games.

I think there's basically one player who's comfortable with the ball in their hands, and that's combining half-Hunter and half-Brockington right now. I hate to say it was overlooked putting the team together, as it wasn't an easy task, but my goodness basically everyone isn't comfortable with the ball actually in their hands. I think Brockington isn't necessarily bad with it, he just favors one side a lot, and think Hunter will get there. But it's very hard to watch sometimes.Probably my biggest hang up in being smart with the ball. They get frantic and impatient. But maybe they really just can't handle all that well.
The game today was literally lost by giving them easy buckets off a telegraphed initial pass setting up the offense. That happened at least 5 times in the 2nd half.Probably my biggest hang up in being smart with the ball. They get frantic and impatient. But maybe they really just can't handle all that well.
This is my biggest frustration. Gotta stop giving up 10+ points per game off of turnovers at the top of the key that lead to run-outs. Just throw it out of bounds or take a 5 seconds if you're going to do that. The game today was literally lost by giving them easy buckets off a telegraphed initial pass setting up the offense. That happened at least 5 times in the 2nd half.
