That makes a lot of sense

Yeah, a lot more sense considering the punishments.

That article that reveals no new facts and only uses her IG pictures to imply some sort of possible sexual relationship is kind of sick. If it was nothing of that sort she's going to get a lot of **** over that.

Coach has a contract I assume they are having lawyers wade through. If the coach's contract ends at the end of the season they might just let it play out so nothing else hits the news and embarrasses them even more.

Also a lot of coaches have fire dates. So if you are still coaching after a certain date, the buy out is not as much. So maybe they are waiting for that date to fire him. With the player, you can just kicker her off the team and allow her to still attend school.

Allows them to get their ducks in a row, get facts and fire him for cause if any of the speculation is indeed close to accurate. Not like assistants have big multi-year contracts with buy outs. They are essentially year to year based on the coaches discretion aren't they?

I know of several examples personally. Both grad and undergrad.

I don't doubt it happens. Definitely saw some of that during my years in Ames.

Also saw a few get dismissed for it, though.

It's playing with fire.

If you wanna read more into this head on over to Husker Hoops Central for the juiciness. Be sure to have a bowl of popcorn ready.

Yup, article was just innuendo with clickbait images of her.

I agree. I think they should be punished. Just don't think its a big deal that should grab a bunch of headlines. But she's hot so it probably will. Assuming that's what happened.

Wait. So are you telling me a story involving a hot white girl automatically gets more attention?

Same here. When I was a student at ISU, I knew of 2 cases of that happening when I was a freshman.

Yeah, her insta is pretty, um, interesting. Looks like she can hoop pretty well, too. I can see how a middle age guy with a batch of kids at home might just jump at an opportunity. And as mentioned above, she is 23.

There were speculations that it was related to classroom-related issue (coach helped with assignments or homework - something like that). That's why the coach is only suspended.

Possible, but you'd think the University would be getting out in front of it if that was the case.
