So pretty equal. Who has more fans? Who has more money? Who has better facilities? Who's able to recruit easier?
You're asking a bunch of rhetorical questions that serve nothing but to create meaningless arguments. I'm sure K-State has outdrawn Missouri over the years. K-State's all-time team (Boozer, Beasley, Blackman, Kruger, Richmond, coached by Tex Winter) would demolish Missouri's. K-State's facilities are first-class. Money has never been an issue. Basketball success is about coaching with top-tier Jimmys and Joes, not whether you're located in Ames, Lubbock, or Waco.

So many variables....
Is the main variable that K-State AD just doesn't want to hire your dream guy because he has no head coaching experience?
That could be a factor. He hired a winning football coach and an experienced baseball skipper. Both with long histories as head coaches. Yes, history suggests Tang would not be Taylor's first choice.

You're missing the point. As I mentioned, Mizzou opening up takes potential candidates away from KSU. It's simply a better job.

Which job you choosing, Maryland or UConn?
Due to conference affiliation, I'd take Maryland if given a choice, but it's close. UConn is one of those homeless schools that's totally dependent on hoops' success, while Maryland gets loads of dough from their B10 football program. Plus, Maryland has a strong basketball tradition as well.

No, I'm not missing your point. I disagree with it. There's nothing in the numbers to suggest that's anything but internet baiting on your part. Quite the opposite is true. At best, Missouri is an equal opportunity.

Homeless school? Uconn is in the Big East, they crush almost, not every, but almost every school in the Country's accolades the last 20 years.
And football? Wichita has probably accomplished more than KState the last 20 years, but it's not a better job than KState.

If you're just looking at past success yes. But other numbers will show you Missouri has more resources, fans, etc. For whatever reason you choose to ignore that, because your purple blinders are on, as usual.

What were the last salaries for coaches at K-State, Mizzou, UConn, and Maryland? Huge factor for any guy looking at these gigs and determining which is the 'best' job.

I ignore false narrative by internet bullies, yes. Rather, I tend to default to facts and records.

Internet bullies. LOL.

Facts and records? Who's played for and won more National Titles the last 20, 30, 40 years? Big East teams or Big Ten teams?

Money, community, people, history, tradition, conference - there are a lot of variables. By the way, Buzz Williams was my recommendation the last go-around before Weber was hired.

If he wasn't from Texas he'd probably be courted again.
By the time I could tell Prohm was off tracks, I thought Eric Musselman would have been a great hire at ISU but no way we'd be able to financially retain him.
