There is actual evidence that they do. Who is the last person drafted who underperformed their draft position. We can point to multiple in the last couple years who were undervalued.

Purdy doesn’t have elite arm strength but it is no where near as bad as people say it is. His biggest flaw is he throws off his back foot which is why people act like his arm strength is bad. He is prone to an occasional really dumb mistakes but he otherwise is a high IQ QB.

I’m not even expecting him to get drafted but I do think there is a decent chance he finds a spot.
Lol the NFL doesn’t give a **** where you play college football. Evidence they do? I’m sure the NFL owners at there meetings always have to bring up how they’re going to screw kids that come out of Iowa State University. Are you ******* serious? Players from every where are overrated or underrated for whatever reason. Im assuming you’re referring to Lazard with your delusional conspiracy. Lazard was slow, made highlight real catches, but also dropped the easiest of passes after. Hes limited athletically. He had a late round grade. He’s worked his ass off to be in the spot he is, but he’s also in the spot he is because of the team, and team scheme he plays for. Absolutely laughable that people think the NFL has some agenda against ISU.

I want you to save this thread so you can come back in August wondering why Purdy didn’t make a roster. What you do in college doesn’t make you’re a next level player. Stats also don’t mean ****. I’m not bashing the kid. He was great for ISU and we were lucky to have him. He’s far from an NFL quarterback. If he played for any other team you would be laughing at there fans thinking he’s an NFL quarterback.

Probably no agenda against a specific school but you’d be silly to be blind to the fact that the first place NFL scouts go to look for talent is the SEC

Who is next, or do we anticipate the rest of the ISU guys getting FA looks? Rose should be drafted soon, I don't know about Chase Allen or any of the others...

Scouts and GMs follow proven track records. LSU produces good DBs, Iowa churns out linemen, Georgia and Bama bring in the best high schoolers and refine them. That isn't a conspiracy or agenda.

Campbell is building a track record with RBs which is great for ISU. It just sucks that it is an undervalued position in the draft.

Hopefully working on TEs, and maybe even some good defensive players, too. We are getting there, getting some good draft exposure the last few years. I think it will keep getting better, hopefully.

I bet Rose gets picked. Chase, Mevis, and Purdy are borderline. Hummel could go if someone wants to take a flyer on him.
