Whoa.... calm your roll a bit there.... a more skilled Georges Niang? Niang is a guy who's been playing in the NBA for quite a while now SOLELY because of his skill level. He has almost no athletic ability to rely on whatsoever, and not the greatest defender you'll ever see either.

I'll be extremely excited if Milan chooses ISU today.... he looks really talented..... but not sure I'd say he's more skilled than Niang until he proves something at the college level.
I think he was probably referring to Niang when he came out of high school. He is certainly more athletic in terms of quickness/speed and has longer arms. But as far as "skilled," both seem to have similar skill sets.

Niang was incredibly skilled when he came out of high school too. So adept.

Not sure he's more athletic than Georges. On3's scouting report views it as his drawback. Never saw a dunk in any of his highlights. May have a Garza vertical. That said he's going to have an awesome career in Ames.

This may have been mentioned before but if he announces he's coming to Ames then the Iowa State 2023 recruiting class score moves them up to 5th place. It's a constantly moving target and a long way to go but none the less.

P.S. Now I look at the post right above this one and it was mentioned. But it's fun to say it again then. But I'll then add that if Omaha Biliew would so happened to commit nearly immediately then we'd be #2.

Looks like Doug McDermott's game. Can he reclassify to 2022?

A longer and more skilled Georges Niang. We'll see if he has Niang's it factor.

If Tj lands Omaha and Milan. I will be making a pledge to the We Will Collective.
Niang had 4 key skills:
1) He could shoot well enough from outside (much more consistent later in his career) that the other team bigs had to respect his shot and come out not sagging off
2) He had good enough handles he could then attack them off the bounce
3) He had the footwork, moves and body control to understand the angles he needed to get his shot off against the trees
4) The charisma for interviews and the ability to blow a sweet kiss...

There a dunk in the third video, pretty early

NO athletic ability? You have no grip on reality.

And of course Milan never played against Nerlens Noel in practice everyday. At least not to my knowledge!
