Texas situation is so weird. They didn't need the money for them it was a perception problem that the big12 was a weak or lesser conference which part of the reason for that perception was the fact that texas has been very bad. You could argue that they left for stability reasons but they were a huge cause of the instability so who knows with them.

Texas has destroyed every conference it has been a part of. Give it a few decades - they'll destabilize the SEC as well when they realize they're not as loved as Alabama... or Georgia... or LSU... or Florida... or Auburn...

There's no way Washington, Oregon, Miami, FSU, Wisco, UCLA, Nebby, Mich. St., A&M, Miss St., Ole Mis, Florida have anywhere near the value to be included in that league. There's maybe 10 truly elite CFB brands. Why would those 10 leave their current conferences to avoid having to be included with less worthy programs just to start a new 24-team league with over a dozen less worthy programs?
Why is any and all of this happening? 1 simple answer anything happens!

Not exactly sure.
One other thing for the big tenners. Just last year, your conference created an alliance with 2 other conference and part of it was agreeing not to raid each other. Your conference couldn’t even make a year into their commitment before they went back on their word and basically stabbed their closest and longest friend in the back.

Now, yeah, we are supposed to take your conference ADs and leadership at their word?

I could say that technically the big ten didn’t raid the Cali schools requested asylum lol

I like how people keep quoting 120 years for the Big10 without uneven revenue sharing. Wasn't the Big 8 around for 89 years without uneven revenue sharing? How long it has been without it happening doesn't mean ****.

Big 8 always had unequal revenue sharing. It was based on television appearances. Nebraska and Oklahoma got the lion’s share.

So, if your wife hooks up with your friend it’s only the fault of who said hi first and the other has no blame?
If I’ve blown the family’s life savings and the house is getting foreclosed on while I just stare at my old letterman jacket while slamming jack talking about the good old days most people wouldn’t blame her for stepping out. Similar set up to how Larry Scott was allowed to destroy the pac

No wonder we started to see a lot more parity in the conference over the last decade.

Larry Scott signed the alliance? Sounds a lot like victim blaming.

Not sure it was "always", but it certainly was after OU took the NCAA to court back in the mid-'80s, and I think that was so conferences could determine their own television contracts independent of the NCAA. And that's when the whole CFA mess started, and the starting down the road where we are today.

Or, at least I think that's what the story is.

So Utah is being dicks on Twitter as is ASU. Arizona and Colorado come first then slowly get the others in Utah and ASU. Make em realize how F’d they are. ESPN said 24.5 million, current big 12 minus Texass and blow U looking at what we currently get or around 50 million. Big 12 in very good position and it pisses off those media pricks out west

Lol, so eventually we end up with Bama and tOSU alone just hopping around in a circle together. Love it.

At least you'd always know what was on ESPN - 3 hours of Gameday from Columbus or Tuscaloosa, Pregame for an hour, the game for 4 hours, postgame analysis for 8 hours, and then an 8 hour loop of Finebaum & Herbie pleasuring themselves.

Colorado AD called Big 12 - Juco league and they really don’t offer that much.

From what I’ve gathered.

Arizona wants to join
Arizona state does not(terrible pres and AD too)
Colorado fans want to join, administration no
Utah fans no, administration.. ?

Except we all know that narrative is just the agreed upon story, to attempt to avoid litigation. Because if the Big 10 is found to have reached out first they open themselves up to lawsuits.

So of course they are going to say that. But you believe everything these people tell you.
You keep saying we are jaded because we have been burned. It is possible that we realise these people lie, and you cant believe anything they say, because we speak from experience. Yet you continue to think that because an AD or the commish says something that is confirmation of the truth. That is just confirmation of what they want you to believe, not the truth.
