Probably both, I like Omaha and Lincoln other than that the state is a wasteland.
While at ISU I interviewed for a company, I think it was something to do with an Ethanol plant. The first red flag should have been how surprised they were that I was even talking to them. They said they were "an hour west of grand island" or something of that sort. My roommate from Bellevue, NE was all "no... that's a bad idea. We don't talk about anything west of Lincoln." I sometimes wonder how much different life would have been had I pursued that position more.

Did some work for a facility in Western Nebraska. Had to fly into Denver and drive like 4 hours to get there and I'm pretty sure I didn't see a car or hint of civilization for like 30-40 minute stretches at a time. And it's not like it was hilly or anything - it was flat and desolate as could be.
