I think 13 WHO featured the Garza’s basketball camp on their sports three or four nights in a row.

Does any other region have so much coverage on a completely inconsequential athlete? He was a great college player that never got out of the first weekend and he’s going to be G League bound.

And sorry, but a player charging $X a head for a camp in the one state where he’s marketable is not “giving back.” Just stop. Maybe if Frank was raising money to make whole some of the people’s lives he wrecked by defrauding them that might actually be a story.

I have no problem covering Garza and the camp. Nothing wrong with that. But covering it as some big story for multiple days and acting like he’s doing some incredible charity work and giving back to Iowa is ridiculous.
A-freaking-men! How is that “giving back” in any sense of the phrase?? He came here because people in Iowa actually know who he is and he can make the most money off of them. Absolutely nothing wrong with that…but for our media to call it “giving back” is absolutely embarrassing.

Fanatics today is Sean Roberts, Emery Songer, and Caleb Renner. Could that be the crew moving forward?

I'm guessing Niang's camp actually sold out

I think it sells out really fast, based on what Lindsey Fennelly said on Morning Rush. And she said they have to pull Georges out of the gym at the end of the session.

Deace was a tool talking about sports. He was practically giddy about ISU's impending doom during the 2010 Big 12 Missile Crisis. Miller was too, but he's admitted that he was a douche back then and walked it back completely - hell, I'd go as far as to say I actually like Miller these days. Deace just keeps digging into his ****-ass persona.

Miller admitted that he had a "character" and all of his pompous Iowa State bashing was all an act.
