This is why I've never really understood crossover shows like this. It was the same when Woody did a show with some Hawk guy (can't recall who it was...) a few years back. I have no desire to listen to JBo. I'm sure most Hawk fans don't want to listen to Stanz. I'd imagine you lose more viewers than you gain but putting opposing viewpoints together.
Just want to clear some things up on my end...

I think you guys are vastly overestimating how much we will talk about Iowa and Iowa State. Sure, we will obviously talk about it occasionally, but the point of the entire network is to have more of a sports radio vibe.

I'm not doing a podcast to break down Iowa State basketball with Jordan. I'm calling Scott Christopherson if that's what I want. That is why Cyclone Fanatic exists.

Iowa Everywhere is not a replacement for Cyclone Fanatic or any of the content we put on this site.

From my perspective, it is an opportunity to talk about things besides Iowa State. That's why I agreed to do the podcast after admittedly being skeptical of working with J-Bo initially. I don't want any part in Iowa State vs. Iowa adversarial content.

I don't find that kind of content entertaining and I don't think something like that sounds fun to create.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into by working with Jordan, but after talking with him and having discussions about what we wanted the show to be, I knew we had a chance because we were strongly in agreement on what we DIDN'T want the show to be.

Turns out, Jordan is a chill dude to talk to and somebody I'm looking forward to building a friendship with regardless of things that happened between the lines of a basketball court. Who could have ever thought that what happens on a basketball court isn't necessarily a reflection of who you are as a person?

I feel like we have a vision for something that could be really fun to create because it will be an opportunity to do something fun and different from what I do full-time on a daily basis.

I talk about the Cyclones all the time on numerous podcasts on this website every week. There are many other things I would love to talk about, but I also know where our bread is buttered on Cyclone Fanatic, so I'm not going to go out of my way to talk about things completely unrelated to what we do here on this network.

Our podcast is going to be Jordan and myself working as a team to put together an entertaining product that I hope people will want to listen to every week. That's no different than my partnerships with Jeff Woody or Scott. The platform and focus will just be different.

Just wanted to put that out there to clear up some of this conversation for the people who are skeptical. I hope you guys give it a chance because I know we are going to have a lot of fun putting it together.

TL;DR: It will not be J-Bo vs. Me fighting about Iowa and Iowa State weekly. Period.

I listened to the Chris podcast. He said they will eventually be on Google and iHeart, but those two platforms take a long time.

I have no idea what these podcasts are or what each one is about. Each one looks to be featuring an Iowa guy and an Iowa State guy...but they're not going to talk Iowa v ISU? These are all sports content? Local content?

Williams and Hassel talked heavily Iowa/ISU but not from an adversarial type of position.

Seems like it allows for an insider/outsider type of perspective that was pretty good.

Now I see where Jared Stansbury has gotten together with Jay Bowe for a weekly podcast called”Jared and Jay Bowe”. Apparently Jay will be showing Jared his expertise on flipping burgers with his Iowa U. Degree…

I think they might be on Apple Podcasts only as of right now. They are waiting to be approved by others.

Search Iowa Everywhere

Right now we are everywhere except Google and iHeart. For some reason, those two take weeks to get approved while the others are basically instant.

We will have a website up in the next two days as well.

We already have seen pictures that J-BO isn't good in a fight anyway.

Did Sean actually quit his bank job? They were talking about him being able to sleep in now.
