Honestly, I cannot believe they've stuck with that third grade garbage. Actually maybe I can but that's even worse.

A whole program, dedicated to "pink=for girls" garbage as an insult at this point is just sad.

that's not the reasoning behind it, weird to be so confident in a wrong assumption. (but also, **** the hawks regardless)

Wasn't this over by the old Clyde Williams Field entrance for a long long time?

I seem to remember stumbling on it back in the day. It was on the west side attached to a brick column?

Is my memory playing tricks?
It was on a brick column of the entrance to the parking lot. I seem to remember there were once iron gates there.

I walked past that gir yours thinking it should be moved. Glad it finally was.

You are correct. It was still there when I was on campus. It confused me because I didn't know about Clyde Williams stadium at the time. Cool way to find out.

No.

We broke a six game losing streak in a game that no one but Cyclone Jerry thought we were going to win. Especially no one here.

Herbstreit recognized that simple fact. It’s not some subtle plot to demean ISU.

I predicted a W in the prediction thread...but it gave me a knot in my stomach doing so.

At some point the team that puts up 200ish more yards every single year is going to win, Iowa's approach of no offense football vs ISU and other average/good teams just isn't sustainable and reliable.

The punt unit is something they can bank on and repeat, scoring on interceptions and fumbles involves a ton of luck even if the act of causing fumbles and interceptions comes from solid defense.

And that was my initial point. Just because HF claimed it was psychology doesn’t mean it wasn’t also intended to demean the opponent as being feminine

I guess you could say it's kind of insecure either way.

I'd say Barta's lies he spread to every Big 12 school about ISU burglarizing locker rooms when his own students were the actual criminals is about a million times more significant to the recent history of the rivalry and a sign of someone stooping far lower than some cans of pink paint. I mean if we want to get into what is petty, Gary Barta is like the all time crybaby champ.

Believe whatever you want, but you're wrong, lmao.

Colors and their psychological effect are well studied and documented. Not just pink.

Well it was women and the gay community in IC who brought it up as demeaning when KF had his latest racism investigation, saying it’s not a good look when you are called out for being racist to also be sexist. Frankly I think our players look pretty good with that pink background but at this point they just seem tone deaf to their own community.
