Special teams, especially kick and punt coverage
Weird/stupid unforced mistakes(bad drops, bad snaps, dropped INTs, missed sacks leading to other teams getting 1st downs)
Penalties at dumb times
Poor defense at the end of the 1st half
Losing on the final drive of the game

I love Campbell but holy **** how do we have so many constant problems year to year.

Campbell is the right man, not sure his bowling league buddies are.

I get the frustration. And yes, we have a lot of problems with some things in the margins. But we just graduated probably the most accomplished group in school history, are 3-1 and down 6 to a 4-0 team.

These are legitimate gripes, but if it was simple to fix these things everybody would do it.

The results are overall good but the 'let the game come to you' approach is a big problem to me but perhaps that's due to the talent available.

Also the 'get a first down or good gain on 1st and then spend the whole play clock pissing around until someone's offsides' thing.

Sadly it is the ongoing unforced errors such as penalties and turnovers that will continue to cost this team wins. If they keep making these mistakes they will find themselves along with West Virginia looking up from the bottom of the league

What it comes down to is that we preach winning in the margins, and we almost never win in the margins, even when we win the game.
