What do you call 26 total yards on the ground then? Not many Hall of Fame coaches would choose to kick a FG for the tie in that situation. There were 60 seconds left on the clock when we lined up with 4th and a foot. And despite what many are saying, our OL wasn't playing that bad.
KU '05 was similar in some weird way iirc. Just kind of a **** show of a game and ISU wilted when it mattered.
Just when I think ISU is past that weirdness...
Which bit on the ass at the end of the game because we would have had to gone for the first instead of missing the 3rd fg of the day. We're just not a very good football team. And it was only 11 because we ****** up on a PAT attempt.
It is garbage. That's one of the many reasons everyone is pissed.Yeah but the narrative on CyFan was the KU defense is garbage.
What game were you watching? Five sacks allowed, 26 yards rushing … that’s “acceptable” line play to you?Not many Hall of Fame coaches would choose to kick a FG for the tie in that situation. There were 60 seconds left on the clock when we lined up with 4th and a foot. And despite what many are saying, our OL wasn't playing that bad.
No it wasn’t. If it was, you are not good at wording things. Your post was clearly taking shots at everyone saying how bad the KU defense was leading up to this game, and now you are basically saying, “Looks like none of you are smart and turns out KU might just have a pretty good defense.”Yeah. That was my point.

Who was the 2nd string RB that was down???ISU was down their 1st and 2nd RB and the defense was playing well. FG was the correct call at the time.
Missouri game 2004 Deja vu
People here like to really project out how great Norton may be based on 4 carries. I think he'll be good but theyre putting him in the NFL in 3 years from now.Who was the 2nd string RB that was down???
And KU has been terrible on defense this season, you’ve got half a yard to go and a kicker that’s 0/2.ISU was down their 1st and 2nd RB and the defense was playing well. FG was the correct call at the time.
Does anyone have a number for the amount of times we’ve led in time of possession and outgained an opponent and lost? Feels like nobody has more of those losses than ISU last 5 years.
It is garbage. That's why it's so frustrating.Yeah but the narrative on CyFan was the KU defense is garbage.
From a 7 and 6 team. Rah rahWe lost what, 19 starters from last year? People need to take a chill pill. This year was always going to be a challenge
And a KO return to midfield.Missed an extra point snap. Missed 3 FGs. Dropped a punt return. Short kickoffs. After 7 years, still no clue no ST, OL, and play calling.
