I think they'll get things figured out eventually (especially if Campbell has like a 20+ year tenure).
Some small things I'd like to see improved for the program:
1. Special teams management
Every year we have issues here, so I'm not sure if we can get a dedicated resource to improve this group. I remember I was impressed with how K-State used to handle special teams under Snyder.
2. Offensive line development
It feels like every team in the midwest (and our rivals to the east) seem to be able to recruit and develop NFL talent in this position group. Iowa State seems to always struggle here for whatever reason, and I'm not sure why. It would be nice to get that corrected.
3. Stretching the field on offense
We have to play to our strengths and have a solid running game, but it would be nice to have some deep threats to stretch the ball downfield. Probably going to be easier for our program to recruit NFL tight-ends than receivers, but we need to figure something out here.
Those are three things that come to mind at least.
