Since when is K-State on of the easier wins every year? You know as well as I do ever year it comes down to a few plays here and there to win the game.

Some of you also need to admit that Kansas is good this year. They aren't the best team in the Big 12 but they are a bowl team. So we lost to a bowl team on the road, get over it.
This is a ridiculous statement, when you hold a bad defensive team to 14 points you should always win. When you hold an average at best team to 10 at home you should win every time.

Apparently (new rule) you’re not allowed to criticize the kicker. you can bag on Brock Purdy all day long or any other player just not the kicker.
Yes because calling out the fans for being ******** to the kicker means he was pissed at the fans for being pissed at Manning.
how many times are you going to constantly repeat yourself? you probably said that about 15 times so far, it’s making my brain hurt.

I think a jet sweep might work onceish and maybe something in the seams for passing or like Noel coming out of the backfield last night to the flats but I don't see them as something you just go back to and lean on automatically.

I actually think even ISU's straight ahead runs are still too long developing and making it a quicker hand off may help.

Right now the line makes last year's look really good.

That's why I think going under center might help us actually.

Someone had linked the video somewhere of NFL defensive players saying it's a lot more difficult defending against a QB under center than in shotgun.

Could be wrong, but I think we had four drives in a row where we completed a pass on 3rd down and punted on 3 and failed a 4th down conversion on one. That **** is getting ******* old. Run at least half your routes past the sticks and if it's the players running a 13 yard route on 3rd and 15 they should not see the field. I've never seen so many 3rd down completions from a team where we don't pick up the first.

Yeah, we could learn from the NFL where.. checks notes… shotgun use is increasing.

Why even have a FG kicker on the roster then if it’s just some side effect of the total offense and not an integral part of an offense? Sometimes football comes down to kicking FG’s. Miss easy ones, get roasted. Coaches and kickers need to deal with it. There’s a bunch of different ways to win a football game, making FG’s is one of those ways.
That’s fine and I agree a kicker should make most FG. But to have all your few points only come from FGs won’t win you many games

Never said things shouldn't change or the fans didn't respond positively last night.

We had a lot of people that were complete idiots last week. Good for Coach to call them out.

As I have stated elsewhere, Coach said the lack of offense is on him. He said he is in the meetings that sets the strategy.

A "lot" of complete idiots could be a few dozen. Social media has a way of making the minority sound the loudest.

So until it's the majority of the fan base he probably needs to just back off the "us against the world" tirade. Especially when the "world" are the people in the bars, parking lot, stands, watching at home every Saturday wearing their ISU gear paying the freight.

His job is to put the players in the best position to win regardless of what he thinks about winning. And the long and short of it is someone isn't doing that. If he says that's on him.........fine. Because if that's the best he can do with what he has......then this offensive group is seriously lacking talent.

Do u really believe it was a few dozen?

TV money pays a lot more freight than our fans to the Athletic Department.

Third paragraph - we are in agreement. Many people on this board act like he hasn't taken responsibility. He has.

I don't want anybody to go anywhere. I want Tom and the offense to pull their heads out and show some improvement, as opposed to regression. I don't even care if we win, just show improvement, don't be caught off guard by every little wrinkle. All I want is to see guys get better, and since the fiesta bowl I just haven't seen a whole lot.

Matt. Deflecting to something that's not the main problem. The fan base isn't stupid. How about you talk about how terrible of a job your friend is doing and is ruining
So nobody in the Iowa State fanbase is stupid? We all know that isn't true there are some stupid Cyclone fans. You said that the fanbase isn't stupid but you didn't mean everyone. Neither did Campbell when he said the fanbase.
