What’s so bad about lower tier games on ESPN+? I actually find having all sports in one place kind of convenient. I know it’s popular to hate the network, but I find that ESPN+ has been pretty reasonably priced for all they offer.

Working with ESPN we will always be the lower tier game. I'm just tired of ESPN screwing us over continuously.

he mentions nothing being imminent- but didn't yormark just say a deal could be in place in one to two weeks?

maybe its all for show by yormark, who knows

Based on what he said yesterday I feel like we should expect the Big 12 tournament to travel more in the future and some international games to get scheduled on that side as well

that rules. the rumors of u of toronto to big10 were awesome
TBH, if the Pac 12 wants to live, not add anyone on the west coast, and play the academic card they might as well try it. Worst case scenario is that they die, which they could do anyways. Plus it would be fun

'always' is only a moment in time. We can easily become the new darling of ESPN marketing. I like our brand. I like our fan base. I like our AD. I like our facilities vision. I like our coaching staffs. And I like them all as a package deal.

And, most importantly, if we increase our own value, being on ESPN+ is a very short step to ESPN or ABC and decided upon by those entities weekly.

I might be oversimplifying, but being relegated to ESPN+ becomes a self fulfilling prophecy in perceived value and popularity. Games on ABC, ESPN, & ESPN2 in prime time slots draw more eyeballs regardless of who is playing. I recall Blum did a great analysis on this last summer(?)

Per team? That would be amazing. If its anything 45 or over then we should all be thrilled.
Yes per team after out leaves, but I think that’s high. Now I wouldn’t be any surprised at 50-55 million per team after everything added up. The college football playoff will be big and the numbers are not totally locked down yet. Our conference has eyeballs and really competitive football now top to bottom so proof is in the pudding sort of speak. Also the PAC in the free market and not getting a deal with espn/fox and we’re on the cusps of a deal with said networks is huge. Yormark imo wouldn’t just say **** just because he has concrete numbers.
