Poll: ISU -7 vs WVU

It feels like if we're going to win, we need to win by 10 or more. We're so terrible in close games.

But feel like it could go either way. I could see us winning by 3+ TD's. I could also see us losing by 18 or more.

We haven’t lost by 18+ since Notre Dame in the 2019 Cheez It Bowl. It was 2016 before that. If that happens, I shudder to think…

In general I agree, but I don't think west Virginia can come into Trice and throw us around like that.

If they do, it will be the most disappointment I have experienced in the Campbell era. If WVU wins, I think it will look a lot like all the other losses we've had this year

2. 2 starting offensive linemen are out.

3. WVU needs to run to win. If you bet on WVU, there's a reason ISu is favored by a td.

4. On defense, it only gets worse with injuries. Secondary, which has sucked all year, has 2 out. a true freshman will make his 1st start at safety. secondary cant cover, and cant even line up right.

5. WVU's dline is tough, but few teams outside of VT are dumb enough to try and run the middle all game. Most pass since their wrs will be wide open.

6. ISU 42 WVU 13. WVU gets down and throws in the towel. Just like NB teams do on the road every game over the past 4 seasons. Thankfully this will be his last.

Don’t worry, all but 1-2 of ISU’s runs today will be out of shotgun right up the middle. You’re jaw is gonna be on the floor every drive wondering why the hell ISU keeps running straight up the middle for nothing every series. WVU might have a bad secondary and new players starting, but no need to worry about it as Tom Manning makes every defense look like an elite power house unit.

WVU lost 5 def starters to transfer portal. guys that are starring at Miami, FSU, Miss State, Georgia. With NIL, im not sure WVU will ever get back to where they once were.
