Been following this a bit on reddit, they waited a really long time to finally have a press conference that basically said "we have no idea".
I was really hoping, based on the “no danger to community” statement, that they were sitting on information. Still a possibility, I suppose, but… yikes. It’s a little stunning that there’s not a Ring cam or 12 with footage.

Heard on the radio this morning that there were 2 unharmed roommates in the apartment at the time of the killings?

I'm like many of you. I can't figure out how they seemingly have no info but almost immediately identified no threat to the public. I can't make those two things make sense.

Also did the TikTok the OP linked say this took place in an apartment complex? It's crazy to me that someone can murder 4 people and no one in the other apartments heard or saw anything...?

The whole thing is just really weird.

It's a 3 story house I believe.

Iirc those killed were on the first and second floors while the others were up on the third floor, likely sleeping.

Saw a story about that, but it implied that there was 9 hours between the time of the killing and it being reported to police. Sound sleepers?
It's a Saturday night in a college town. They were probably all up late and slept in late after a night of drinking. Plus even after they woke up they could have just been hanging out in their rooms not knowing what had happened on the other levels

It seems to me that they are honing in on who made the 911 call. The report indicates they called in anonymously and indicated an "unconscious" victim, which is a weird way to describe what the police described as a horrific scene.

Grown man Clonefan32 wakes up if a leaf blows off a tree and hits my bedroom window.

Hungover college Clonefan32 could have slept through just about any natural disaster.

I watched the food truck surveillance video where two of the victims appear to be being watched by a male in a hoodie. He also had a black baseball cap. In September the University posted an alert of a young male with a black baseball cap and mountain bike who had threatened two students with a knife.

Thanks for sharing the link. My wife was telling me about this video last night, but I hadn't seen it. Strange how the 'hooded stranger' appears to walk up with(?), or at the very least, the same time as the two female victims. Very beginning of the video, top view, behind the woman in the white hoodie/ beanie.

But see I don't think in that video it looks like the guy is "watching" them. Once they move onto the second camera it's apparent he's not making any attempt to conceal himself or anything. It would appear to me they probably knew him.

It's a little weird how the two women don't really 'interact' with or even 'acknowledge' him throughout the entire two minute video. He gives me a strong 'hovering' vibe - not that there is anything intrinsically nefarious about his actions seen in the video.

The woman in the pink top sees a friend/acquaintance and walks over to chat and gives him a hug, yet the guy in the hooded sweatshirt just seems to 'orbit' the two women. From the beginning when they all enter the frame at the same time it doesn't seem like they are talking or interacting - almost like they all happened to be crossing the street at the same time (or alternatively haven't known each other for very long). I don't think it makes the guy a suspect by any means, but it'd be someone I'd want to ask some questions to if I was LEO.

I bought a knife like that for my dad as a marine vet, I’d think they’re somewhat common?

I’d have no idea on that type of market/if they are common.. but I just don’t understand this whole thing. Sad deal.
