Hate to see the Twins make this move.
Agree, the Twins got poor value in this one, and they let one of their most solid starters in the field and at the plate walk.
I’m sure it will be good value and a good trade. The Twins have shown they’re really good at evaluating pitching talent

And if you want to buy one of these at the Twins ProShop, a player nameless jersey is priced at $379. Greedy bastard$.
And we wonder why the sport loses popularity... just one more nail in the coffin.

Two of the top four SS are gone and are establishing the market now for Correa. Hopefully the Twins can get it done.
Next move would be to package Pagone with another player for a solid catcher, if they can’t get a FA.

I'd put it at <5% chance. Correa ain't happening.

They signed Vasquez so they got their RH bat. I like it but not digging 3 yrs.

Good move by the Twins. 30 million for 3 years is stepping up a little, but Vasquez was about the only experienced catcher left out there. The position was a definite need and they got it done.

Clear upgrade over Gary Sanchez. Time to break the bank now for Correa.

I know Correa's potential but often last year he just seem to underwhelm me based on how much we were paying him. I hope I'm wrong if we keep him.

I don't think it was a bad move. I just wonder about his durability. He hasn't had issues I believe in the past but once you get over 30, your body goes to sh*t. (Maybe that's just my experience).:)

Read something interesting about Vasquez. Apparently the last few years, he's been a fantastic pitch framer on high pitches, but not so good on the corners and low. Jeffers is a better pitch framer on the corners and low than he is the high pitches. Could make for a good platoon in that sense.

Can’t blame the Twins for not going beyond 10 years. I’m afraid Swanson will also want a similar long term deal. Sometimes you have cash in your chips and back away from the table.
