I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed Herbie lumping the Big 10 in with the SEC dominance when talking down the Big 12 despite TCU beating the Big 10 champ just last week.

And people wonder why so many people hate Herbie's Big 10 homerism.
Groupies are usually kind of sickening.

Not exactly sure.
That was what we started with (by mistake). I asked then, I'll ask again now:

Do people actually watch that ****-show of a production...and enjoy it? I couldn't even follow the first three plays...
SOMEbody must watch or they wouldn't be doing it, but good grief, they were a joke.
McAfee has his own show. He gets some pretty good guests and asks weird things instead of the same old same old. I don't listen to him but have heard parts of his show. He does have segments that are solid though.

The lack of bowl experience on that TCU squad was evident from the first snap. They got sucked into everyone telling them their **** didn't stink for the last week+ instead of being ready to play. They probably still would have lost but they might have actually made it a game for two quarters if they were ready to play instead of sitting around enjoying the smell of their own farts.

I felt bad for Duggan. He never had a chance in this game and he made some pretty bad mistakes while under constant pressure.
I agree - TCU was absolutely NOT ready for the game. Cinderella stories play out a little differently in FB than they do in March Madness...

I tried watching the command center feed or whatever they called it. I might be interested in it if I was watching on my big TV not the little bedroom one. That being said, the bench cameras are a waste. If you are going to have 4 feeds on there make them game on the field feeds rather than two field feeds and two throw away feeds. That is just a waste of screen space.

Having a separate show is one thing. That production put the game on as secondary to the crap going on over on the left side.

Think of the announcers, many are tied to the big 10. I would rather have the SEC have more but then you get people like Pollack who aren't bright enough to have their own opinion and he falls into the Big 10 this good conference also. I do think with ESPN having nothing to do with the big 10, that they may push herbie and his ilk to stop talking them up so much.

Oh, I know. We watched part of one of those for the semis and went nuts because it cut the screen basically in half, so we switched over. The overhead view isn't bad if they had that.

I don't think they will be able to push Herbie into anything. They have built him up to too big of a personality with too much cachet over the years of Gameday. Hell, now he is even calling an NFL game a week. wtf is up with that?!

And there is no way he is going to stop propping up his beloved Big 10 on his own.

I tried to watch that until a punt and the camera was clear off the other end of the field with the entire field on the screen. I couldn't even see the ball when it was snapped and punted. I loved not having to listen to drivel, but I actually want to see the game.

The only way something could happen would be to push him more pro and maybe replace him on gameday. I'm guessing McAfee comes in for the old guy who is slipping extremely hard. Can ESPN really afford herbie to talk up the big ten teams so much during the season and have them flip channels away from ESPN. We are talking billions of dollars a year they are paying out, they can find someone to fill his place if they think they are taking a hit.

Don't mind the loss would've liked TCU to not look totally overwhelmed and at least put up 30 something points. At least they beat the Big 10 champ

Sadly, this part will got lost in all of this. Just from watching my Twitter and FB feeds last night, there was quite the outcry of people thinking Michigan would've given Georgia a better game, and excuse making for why Michigan lost to TCU. People opinions are difficult to change, and will revert to the popular narrative regardless of what results or facts are available.

Pollack is absolutely terrible. He brings nothing to any show he's on.

Bring in McAfee's crew and really take Gameday to the next level. Keep Desmond, boot Herbie and Pollack and please, please stop trotting out Corso.

He got away with a lot of sloppy throws in the games leading up to this. I was certain Georgia would absolutely punish him, and oh boy did they. I'm not happy about it--I just knew it would happen. The kid has heart, but not an accurate arm. I was 99.9% certain the dawgs would smother them defensively.

I just thought TCU would make a better showing defensively themselves. Holy sweet jesus did their linebackers and safeties bite on absolutely every single little misdirection and play completely undisciplined assignments. They looked like a bad high school team out there. It was actually pretty shocking.

Don't forget about Pac Champion Utah losing @ Florida (6-7), and to the 3rd place B1G East Divison team in the Rose Bowl!
I think the Big 12 and Pac 12 are a lot more even than fans of both conferences would like to admit. There are good teams in both, but there is no Georgia, Alabama, or Ohio State in either of them.

I expected something more like it being 21-10 at halftime, then maybe UGA pulling away to win 38-13 or 45-13. That sort of thing has happened in some CFP games, so it would've been a "more palatable blowout."

I thought TCU would be able to at least score some points. Georgia's defense had seemed vulnerable. I honestly wasn't going to be surprised if TCU got blown out but I was surprised how bad it was and how bad it looked

Georgia brought heat. They made max think quick, usually max had to decide to throw or run. Georgia coming hard didn’t allow the run and max wasn’t able to get to read two or three and his inability to know where his hot read was was telling.

TCUs right tackle was destroyed. Their line also tried to have an old school pocket which didn’t work and we saw in the semis that TCUs backup RB is awful with pass protection. He would just stand there. At least hit someone instead of just taking up pocket space.
