Tulane beat USC and Oregon had a game like this against Georgia at the beginning of the year. Not sure this is the hill Pac 12 homers should die on.
Don't forget about Pac Champion Utah losing @ Florida (6-7), and to the 3rd place B1G East Divison team in the Rose Bowl!

A lot of similarities between the '22-23 Frogs and the '15-16 Hawkeyes; each lost their league championship game followed by an absolutely boat-racing in Southern California.

At the end of the day, i'll take being in the game, no matter how it ends. Not many teams can say they even got there.
This is the right answer, although it's a little bit like someone telling you that you get to have sex with <insert sexy woman of your choice>, only to walk into the room and see she's wearing a GIANT strap-on and is muttering about being out of lube.*

*no judgment if this is your thing

I don't mind the SEC love. Their dominance is pretty self-evident at this point.

But lumping the Big Ten in with them for absolutely no reason when the last national title won by a Big Ten team (and the only one of the playoff era) was the very first one in 2015... and the only program outside of the SEC that has shown some ability to build an SEC champion-caliber roster is Clemson...

...is pretty ******* annoying. Stop trying to steal the valor you don't deserve, Big Ten homer.
Ohio State had no business being in that playoffs in 2015. They had a bad loss to a horrible Virginia Tech team yet got in ahead of both TCU and Baylor who each had 1 solid loss. Congrats on getting the back door in the playoffs and winning 2 games in a row.

B1G has similar money to the SEC but it’s been that way for well over a decade now yet they have 1 questionable natty to speak for it. You are right, from an on field performance standpoint it’s the SEC then everyone else.

They did... until they didn't. Riding high after the Big 12s first cfp win last week. Tonight almost makes you question if a close loss to Michigan would've been better than what happened tonight.
Why in the world would you prefer a close loss?

Not exactly sure.

The knock on the big 12 was they couldn't win a semi game so why have them in. TCU may have been destroyed in the championship but they won a semi for once so it proved that we can win a semi. Losing in the semi just would just reinforce the can't win a semi game.

That was what we started with (by mistake). I asked then, I'll ask again now:

Do people actually watch that ****-show of a production...and enjoy it? I couldn't even follow the first three plays...
SOMEbody must watch or they wouldn't be doing it, but good grief, they were a joke.

The lack of bowl experience on that TCU squad was evident from the first snap. They got sucked into everyone telling them their **** didn't stink for the last week+ instead of being ready to play. They probably still would have lost but they might have actually made it a game for two quarters if they were ready to play instead of sitting around enjoying the smell of their own farts.

I felt bad for Duggan. He never had a chance in this game and he made some pretty bad mistakes while under constant pressure.
