Who's "they"? Because you shirley don't mean "we"?The bright spot is that they have an ace in the hole riding the bench!
This years team= they! If you are on this team as a player or coach then you could use we I guess.Who's "they"? Because you shirley don't mean "we"?

#23 obviously he took Jordan’s number for a reason. Here is a question for the astute amongst you. Which of the starting five will have an NBA career?
I was sent this link by my cousin in lacrosse wi. He has Seen this kid play a number of times. No stats for junior year as he was out from a football injury. He was top five finalist for Mr Basketball in MN. There were questions about his 3 point shot form? Who cares what his form is like as long as it goes in. D1 the top mn AAU program. I see him going bye Chucky Hepburn the Wisconsin Point guard among quite a few other D1 players. Lipsey feeding him the ball.I found that site as well when I was trying to locate MN high school stats, doesn't make much sense unfortunately. Iowa has an awesome statistics portal for HS games/players all the way back to 2006. I haven't had luck finding something like that for Minnesota but from the newspaper articles I've seen about Eli it doesn't seem he shot many 3's; one clip said in his final game he scored 30+ points with 0 shots from deep.

Seriously?. Coaches are deciding who they want to keep from beingj one and done. More money if yyou keep the top ones longer!Maybe his team played a lot of zone? With another injury, maybe it's defense that's keeping him from the rotation. No knowledge of that tho. Its such a big step up to D1 unless you're a Brandon Miller, Filipowski, or any other one-and-done candidates who can get it done on both ends of the floor at a high level.
And don't call me Shirley.Who's "they"? Because you shirley don't mean "we"?
No problem. Haha. I was trying to draw him out some. And don't call me Shirley.
(As much as I fought it, I just couldn't resist. Sorry.)
The end of the bench was having a riot yesterday, great to see.The kid may not be playing but he’s having an absolute blast on the sideline.
When Lipsey made the behind the back pass to Gabe for the 3 the bench was just dying. It was awesome. People also have to remember Eli and TJ have known each other a long time so I’m sure they talk often about his future role with the team. The end of the bench was having a riot yesterday, great to see.
Eli hasn’t ever been seen as a shooter has he? Not saying he can’t become one, but the few minutes he has been in he seems to love to drive to the basket. He has a lot of raw talent. He definitely could contribute if he continues to improve. Just hope he doesn’t get lost in the shuffle with all these big time recruits coming in. He’s gotta keep his head up!Really really hope Eli sticks things out and works his a$$ off this summer. His athleticism jumped off the screen in his limited action tonight. There is no reason why he can't have a Naz Long type of career. Naz barely saw the floor as a freshman and everyone knows the story from there. Turned into one of my favorite cyclones ever.

No offense, but this board was full of the same attitude about Naz his freshman year. Some people take longer to adjust. It is WAY too early to write him off!Honestly not seeing it with him
It's definitely the exception thoughNo offense, but this board was full of the same attitude about Naz his freshman year. Some people take longer to adjust. It is WAY too early to write him off!
How many people completely wrote off Grill his first go round here and were convinced they were right when he left? I'm glad he has come back and proven us wrong!
Yah it's tough to "show" anything when he enters the game with 3 min left up by 30. Basically there to kill the clock. Shooting 50% from 3 with the slow shot. You're right on with potential is there. Be blind not to see it. Who knows it may be here maybe somewhere else.No offense, but this board was full of the same attitude about Naz his freshman year. Some people take longer to adjust.
