Ok, that's great but I'm telling you personally I have bad luck with it. I watch First Take and Get Up every morning and it's constantly freezing on me. I've tried deleting and reinstalling who knows how many times.

I have a bunch of other apps i watch sports on also and I don't have issues with them.

While I agree it will never not seem odd to have mens BB, a pretty national sport with a national audience being on the app while their flagship station ESPN shows me a corn hole tournament.

I had a subscription last season to espn+. Somehow they determined I had a fake account. Every game I had to delete the app, reload it and put in my password. Otherwise it would just lock me out. Vowed they would never get another dollar from me.
This Saturday, there will be 2 games matching top 25 teams. Both will be in the Big 12. One of them features teams tied for first, in the toughest mbb conference in the usa. Should be the headline event. Where can you watch this you ask? Almost no one will see this high level game because it is on the antithesis of the "mothership". The network no one watches. The tier 3. The minus. And the big 12 certainly doesn't make any money on it.
I'll be listening to John and Eric. Again.

To add to this BS - I couldn't even watch the TT game the other night. I have ESPN+ bundled with Hulu Live. Every time I launched the game, it buffered and then reported some error "We're having trouble streaming this a the moment" with an OK button. F you! It's NOT okay!

I was able to stream other ESPN+ games but not the ISU one. Was happy to follow the tweets and watch highlights the next day, but c'mon!

That's very odd, I was able to watch it with Hulu live.

I don’t like it either but this “ESPN is the devil” conspiracy theory is dumb. They want people to sign up for ESPN+ so they are putting a game with the top two basketball fan bases on it. Not that difficult to understand.

But also not difficult to understand when you have TWO top 15 teams in the Cyclones and KU, flex that game and get it on tv somehow. Punt some other JV sec game to espn +

Ya... it's not ideal.

I would like to see some control maintained by the conference on which games are relegated to espn+. Clearly, espn is trying to get new subs. You can't just put ISU vs. western mich on espn+ and expect a bump in subscribers. I think the B12 needs to be careful though... imo, you are hurting your brand if no one can watch your top games. There are too many games on ESPN+ right now and more importantly, too many top games.

ISU has @kansas, vs. texas on espn+... and don't look now, but @ texas is on the longhorn network. Just unfortunate how they have packaged the basketball games. I hope they were smarter about this in the new deal - but I doubt it.

Now, who is going to build the platform that allows you to seamlessly scroll through your live content - like changing a channel instead of being forced to move from app to app?

I don’t get the “no one can watch” mantra about ESPN+. There are over 24 million ESPN+ subscribers.

Disney has already been talking about having a combined Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ interface. Right now I can access all the ESPN+ stuff through the Hulu app, so they are already 2/3 of the way there.

And I don't have any sort of cable package, so there are people like me that have the opposite problem if the game falls on ESPN proper.
