So you hear what his teammates say. And yeah, some of it is cliche. But does that, combined with how he finished and a post season win, make him the starter in '23?

What more would be need to do to lock it up?
i think winning this game gives him pole position for the job next year. Week 1 starter. It’s his job to keep.

He's definitely better than Lance IMO... and Jimmy G isn't really anything special either, just steady. But he's getting banged up too.

I think SF has to do what they can to bring Purdy back. He's too valuable.

Geno gives up the pick.

"Turn out the lights, the party's oooooveeerrr."
I was thinking Geno Smith was out of tOSU, that Gene Smith is the tOSU AD (coincidentally, he was the ISU AD in the 90s). But Geno was the QB at West Virginia when the joined the Big 12. So it turns out today was a dual of Big 12 QBs. Amazing.
Another former Big 12 QB, Skylar Thompson, the last QB to start under Bill Snyder at Kansas State, will go under center tomorrow for the Miami Dolphins:

I dont know But you compare stats with Trey, 8 games vs 8 games last week and Brock was way better. Then you take Brocks 6 actual meaningful games and its not even a competition.

If you look at the overall body of work between the 2. College and Pro, then look at the college and pro separately. Brock is by far outperforming Trey.

How do they not see that, at this point.

Just got back from the bar watching the basketball game. There was one table with a bunch of people wearing SF stuff, 2 of them had Purdy jerseys on. Cool….then they spent the rest of the time screaming and jumping up and down every time Purdy took a snap. I get it, you are excited, but this was over the top. I was trying to watch the damn basketball game. Anyway, maybe it is just that I am drunk….that could be it. Carry on.

Five of the starting QBs for the playoffs are Big 12 QBs.

Purdy
Smith
Thompson
Maholmes
Hurts

Edit: Because my brain said Holmes instead of MAholmes

Purdy's about to get 2 million in endorsement deals this offseason. He's the talk of the league. Next year, you could always go to trey lance, but why would you at this point..

His numbers if aggregated out for the full year, are all pro type stuff. 16 td's to 3 picks now. Thats unbelievable.

It’s crazy that there are probably 100s of college players that will have made this year and will make more for the next 3 years than Purdy’s contract.
