Is "Horns Down" still going to be considered a hate crime after they leave Big 12? Was that a NCAA or federal government thing rather than the Big 12?

Texas is talented but let's win ugly. Will be listening to John and Eric. Go Cyclones!
Yeah....hoping the fouls are not too liberal to start (i.e. early foul trouble for us) and we can play our tough D.

I'd imagine there will be energy in the building....Texa$ will try to quiet the crowd. I'd say our guys need to get the crowd dialed in with defense and hustle plays....not always going for "daggers." Or if we get a good stop, take what is given not forced (I feel Saturday we had that run of 5-7 turnovers that were sometimes after good stops/boards).

Let's hope the whistles are similar to the KU game (yep, pretty fair). :)

So, the students and lower level are getting whiteout shirts but not us poor people?

:mccaffery:

Still, that's a lot of t-shirts! Let's say they put out 7 thousand shirts, at $3/per (??). That's $21,000!

And how do they get everybodies size correct? Inquiring minds want to know!

Good question. Texas will get no favors in the SEC. Bend over Bevo.

Just curious, does anyone on this board know if officials discuss games/teams before the game? For example, do they discuss the return of TH and the possible hostile crowd and/or not letting teams get chippy and/or things they watch for knowing the tendencies of teams? I mean, I hope not, but they are human after all.

Agree this and KU game both featured top 15 matchups and it's not on regular TV. It's just stupid.
We can probably thank the new Big 10's TV contract for this, in part. It's Big 10 here, Big 10 there. Gag!

I'm not sure espn cares. They probably figure if people want to watch it, buy your ticket (subscription).

I will forever cherish the UT snowflakes who were SERIOUSLY comparing horns down to a hate crime. Possibly the most soft a group of human beings have ever been.

Glad to see Tyrese is fitting in nicely to his stated goal of being more of a role player.

I see his last outing he almost had a "Tony Snell". That's hard to do.
