Had mine last January. Failed for one reason or another. Had it again in August. Success.

Did you have it done in Iowa City. Lots of failed things going on there lately.

Before left the office, I saw the two short tubes on the exam tray. No swimmers when I went back.

Broadlawns in DSM. Honestly very good experience outside of my own anatomical will to reproduce.

Several I know never did the follow ups. They are usually the ones with extra trophies.

I forgot to do the follow up; been a few years. Still have the cup. Wonder if I could drop off a sample still.

Not exactly sure.

You have to schedule the donation. You just can’t hammer it off into a cup and drop it off. They would think you have some weird fetish.

I just got snipped Monday. Specifically said I don't need to schedule an appointment for the followup sample. Just drop it off between 8-12 weeks. So one may indeed be able to hammer one out and drop it off. No fetish necessary

I believe this is the situation mine is.

I've got mine scheduled with the Iowa Clinic next Friday - anyone else getting a March Madness snip snip?

Any advice other than have some frozen peas on-hand?
I thought I was smart scheduling mine for March a few years ago. Then the UAB game happened. I was up and down so much because of the game I ended up in major pain the rest of the weekend, and I didn't even want to watch any more basketball.

I am scheduled for the no needle, no scalpel one next week on Wed. Anyone have that kind done?
I don't know about no needle, but mine was scalpeless. No incision, just what looks like a pin prick on the skin. Was definitely better than some of the experiences I've heard the other way. I didn't even use a frozen pea bag. It was seriously easy.

But that being said, don't overdo it if you are feeling fine. You are fine until you aren't and then there really isn't any going back.

I would encourage taking the pre-op Valium if they offer it. I did. You likely get better (less pain) results if you are really relaxed and the Valium does the trick.

I was also told to just drop off a sample. Passed (no swimmers) the first time.
